Indiana Assistance to Immigrants in Detention is a volunteer group in Indiana that provides emotional support, information, and referrals to individuals who have been or are being detained by ICE, and to their family members and community members.

Join us for a Family Fun Night fundraiser on Saturday, 1/27, 6-8pm!
As we ring in 2024, we reflect on the past year and the impact your support has made for Indiana AID as we care for and connect with individuals in detention and their families around central Indiana. We are 100% volunteer run and can do it only because of your support. To that end, Indiana AID is planning an in-person family fun night as a fundraiser, happening the evening of Saturday, 1/27/24, from 6-8pm. The event will be held at Shalom Mennonite Church, 6100 E 32nd St, Indianapolis, IN 46226. Please see the flyer for more information and plan to come out for a fun evening with a great cause! We are a volunteer group of people who support individuals detained by ICE in Indiana by bearing witness to their experiences through visits, offering information, and providing resources to them and their families. Advocates and people of faith gathered today, October 1, 2023 at the Indianapolis ICE office to pray for those detained in ICE custody just an hour down the road in Brazil, IN (and other jails in the Midwest), as well as their family members and communities affected by Immigration detention. Today is World Communion Sunday, when Christians are called to be mindful of communities around the globe, including migrants and who we in the US are called to provide hospitality to those who migrate here. During the vigil, we read Deuteronomy 24:17-21 and Matthew 25:31-45 before praying for all those detained, all those who advocate alongside migrants, and policymakers to change course to and .
