I try to take and post a wide range of photos because I want to show all parts of your personality, not just the "sexy" side. But will I help you bring your sexy side out to play? Absolutely.

Something other than bo***ir Sunday (on Monday I forgot to post it yesterday😆) I got to do family photos for my oldest son’s adorable family for my grandbaby’s 1 year birthday! Newfields was a beautiful location for a shoot. Of course I had to pause to obsess over taking the perfect bumblebee photo.

Do you need to show a lot of skin at a couples bo***ir session? No, we can always do some cuddled up photos in bed in your pajamas or completely clothed. I love love

A lot of times people tell me- I'm silly and awkward, I'm not "sexy."
I always tell them- great! Show me silly and awkward! Because you being you is absolutely the sexiest thing in the world.

I have shoot coming up for someone celebrating embracing all of who they are fully. I’ve done a few “coming out of the closet” type shoots, sometimes for them to share publicly and sometimes just for themselves, embracing who they are privately. It makes my heart so happy to be a part of that journey.

Thinking back to this magical night in Costa Rica with my camera precariously balanced on my shoe and me yelling "don't move!!" while i did a long exposure. Costa Rica forever has my heart, I could go over and over and never get tired of it. Where is your favorite place to go? As always- when planning a trip- please think of my wonderful business manager/husband's travel agency! It doesn't cost you any more to book through him and I promise it makes your life a lot easier. I don't have many props in the studio, honestly, because I want you to bring things meaningful to you and not just use some random thing I have. I love this mask that she brought!

Yes you are always welcome to bring a support person to your session! I've had people bring their partners, friends, moms, or adult daughters with them. I might put them to work adjusting lingerie though! Honestly, it's a different vibe when you bring someone. Not better or worse- just different. I love when it's just me and you, when all focus is on you and making you feel amazing. But I also love when you have a trusted loved one hyping you up the entire time.

Every shoot is special to me, but this lady is extra special. A few years ago she was in a horrible car wreck, and every year she does a shoot with me as a celebration of survival and triumph. She has been through so many surgeries and so much pain and still the joy she brings absolutely lights up the room. It's an honor to chronicle her journey. When she asked if she could bring her pottery wheel into the studio I had a split second of- how the heck is this going to work- and then quickly decided of course we will make it work :-) She has limited use of one of her hands so she uses her foot to help make her pots. I think this blue velvet couch is my favorite furniture in the studio. Adding in a gorgeous woman makes it even better!

I think I'm going to make travel Saturday a thing and share about our travels! I take people to gorgeous places and take their photo, as well as doing a lot of family trips. Also- shameless plug- my husband is a travel agent and can plan an amazing trip for you or you can join on one of his guided tours- he just got back from taking a group to Peru. Follow him Next Adventure Travel and join our travel group (I'll put link in comments to that.) This is from our family trip to Iceland, it's probably the most beautiful place I've been. And Tyler just happens to have a guided tour there with openings :-)

What to wear to your session? I always love bodysuits!

I would love to do more mama (or grandma) and baby sessions. This is definitely not bo***ir, but also more intimate and connected type of photos than traditional family photos. This is a self portrait with my grandson who is almost 1 ❤️

I’m trying to do more self portraits to play with ideas, try new things. Today I wanted to play with taking photos from above, that meant climbing up on a ladder and hanging my camera from the pipes overhead while I set it to take photos at intervals. Also giving myself permission to mess up, to not have things perfect, to use the self portraits as a sketchbook to explore more fully sometime in the future. I meant to do full body but I wasn’t laying in the right place so that didn’t quite work out. But here’s today’s self-portrait.

Going through my head was the thought of being adrift, un-anchored, lonely. But also of being comforted by the peace of the solitude, trying to quiet my inner life to match the quiet around me.

I don't ever tell you what to wear at sessions. I want you to wear what you feel good in, what makes you feel like YOU. Not something that someone else says is supposed to be what makes you feel sexy. Don't stress too much over what to bring. You don't have to go shopping- unless you want to. And if you bring nothing at all? A sheet works just fine if you don't want to be n**e.

So I’m assuming if you message me that you either have a really horrible imagination or you’re just trying to get me to send you naked photos of people. Either way, that’s not happening.

However, I do have a Patreon site where I can share uncensored art of people who give me absolute permission to share their n**e photos. I’m not the best at posting consistently on there- but if you’d like to support my work, that’s a cheap and easy way to do it.

Yes, I photograph weddings too. When the sun came out to play with the flower girls at the
reception, it took my breath away. This couple is so great and I love their love for each other. it’s such an honor to witness such important parts of your life. Clothes or no clothes 😆
