Baby Charlie just turned a month old and is absolutely thriving. He loves his Mama's milk, being held and his pup Oscar. Ok, he probably is indifferent at this point with Oscar but I just KNOW they'll be best friends in no time. Molly + Andy invited me into their adorable Broad Ripple home for their session and since it happened to be on one of the hottest days of the year, AC was clutch. I loved hearing all about their adventures as a married couple before Charlie was born and how they worked their love of travel into the nursery decor. Charlie is destined for an exciting life with these two as his parents! Thank you for trusting me with your sweet boy, Molly and Andy, and congrats again! xo

Two of my favorite gals, Birdie and her Mama, Kim! Kim is the powerhouse behind local boutique, Francis & Fern and I've just loved getting to know her over the years. Seeing her become a Mom has been such a joy and getting to photograph her and Birdie last night was absolutely magical. The light, the color palette, B's smiles; just perfection. Thank you for always trusting me to photograph BOTH of your babies, the boutique and Birdie.😉

Underwater photography has always been a love of mine but I don't get the chance to practice all that often. Yesterday, however I made a point to invite two of my favorite gals out to model so we could try and make some magic together. And, indeed magic was made! Izzy + Katie were amazing even with water up their noses and balls flying at their heads from my kids playing nearby. (Evie 🙄) Katie even got to show off her adorable baby bump! She's due in December and is just radiating Earth mama goodness as always. And, Izzy, ever the muse, thank you for always being up for modeling and putting up with my crazy ideas over the years! Love you both. xo

Another adorable session at Bottleworks last night with these two! I had the best time with Jason + Regan chatting about true crime, their pup and next year's wedding. Jason, you were such a trooper in the heat, I know you were ready to wrap after 15 minutes but you pushed through like a champ. And, Regan that white dress is to die for, I cannot wait to see you in your wedding dress now! Congrats again, guys. xo

If you stepped outside on Saturday you know what an anomaly the weather turned out to be. An August day with zero humidity with a high in the 70's? Impossible! But, for Carly + Tyler, their wedding just happened to land on the most magical Summer day yet. We could not have asked for more perfect weather, let alone a more perfect location. The Village of West Clay is the most charming, elegant venue nestled in an idyllic neighborhood of homes and local shops. Carly + Tyler were married in the park under the gazebo with all of their closest friends and family in attendance. I know I sound like a broken record sometimes, but my couples really are the best. These two are so well suited for each other; they're both gentle, kind, thoughtful and.... love running marathons. They're even doing one on their honeymoon in the UK! Bananas. Thank you so much for including us in your day, we had the best time documenting your love story! xo

Kasey + Brian were such a joy to photograph. They vibe together so well and when I was introduced into their bubble it was almost like I jumped onto the same shared wavelength. There were a few instances where Brian guessed a specific movie I was thinking of, or I guessed a TV show on the first try. And, these were pretty niche answers, so it was seriously wild. Millennials are the gatekeepers of pop culture trivia, I'm telling you.💁‍♀️ Anyway, back to the love story. Kasey + Brian have known each other since their school days, but life took them on separate paths; Brian to Chicago and Kasey to NYC for over ten years. During the pandemic, they both moved back home and reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history. I had so much fun hanging out with you guys, and Kasey I still need to pick your brain about your time on Broadway! Can't wait for your big day this winter, congrats again you guys!

What an incredible day, Ben FINALLY got to ring the Bravery Bell! Ben has been fighting Leukemia since he was 2.5 and today was his big day to celebrate his win over cancer for good. His Mama, Laura and I went to high school together so when she asked me to come up to Chicago and document the occasion it was an immediate yes. Ben was surrounded by his family and the superhero doctors and nurses who cared for him during those tenuous days he was admitted. I can't tell you what an honor it was to be included in this special day. Thank you so much for letting me document this for you all, sending so much love and light to your family in the coming years! xoxo

Baby Calvin is here and oh my goodness is he the cutest little guy. Ciara + Jordon have waited a long time to hold a baby in their arms and I can't tell you how happy I am that their dream finally came true. The little guy was awake most of the time and gave me so many sweet faces, even the stink eye! 😂 With a mug like that, he's adorable no matter what.😏 Thanks for having me out, Kane Family! Love you guys.

Christal + Michael came out to the studio last night for some bridal portraits before they get hitched on Friday! It's going to be a small courthouse ceremony up in Chicago with close friends and family so they wanted to get the portraits done in Indy so they could have something to share with everyone. I was so honored to do them, and believe me when I say these two are pros in front of the camera. Christal hit all of her marks with little direction from me and I finally asked her if she'd modeled before and, guess what, she HAD. Not surprised in the least! 😂 Wishing you the best wedding day! The girls, my Mom and I drove out to Maryland this week to spend some time with my brother and his family. We had the best visit and of course I brought my camera so I could grab a few photos of them. Their pup, Maggie is nearing her final years so we made sure to get a bunch of James, Rachel and Jonathan loving on her. Sweet girl basked in all of the affection and I think you can even see her smiling herself in a few. Thanks for hosting us, I know we can be a LOT! 😂Love you all!

What a week it's been for Lindsey + Tyler! They got married on Wednesday in a private courthouse ceremony and then invited all of their favorite people for one huge party on Saturday evening at the Columbia Club downtown. They are such a low-key, chill couple and truly the easiest to work with. I had so much fun getting to know your entire family this week, thank you for inviting me in to document this sweet time for you guys. Wishing you a lifetime of joy and happiness and an amazing Caribbean honeymoon when you finally get to sneak away later this year!

It's been a crazy week for me with sessions but every single one has been just the best. This maternity session with Gabbriel and Brandon was no exception and it was so tough to choose which photos to share! It was the perfect night with little humidity, lots of sunshine and wildflowers everywhere. We even saw two enormous snapping turtles in a pond and for a split second thought there was an alligator tracking us.😂 Crazier things have happened! I can't wait to meet your little one later this Summer, congratulations, again you guys!

I love this family so much! I've been photographing Kaitlin + Ben since their wedding and been lucky enough to document their daughter Mia since she was a baby as well. They recently added a gorgeous new home and another sweet baby girl to the mix! Ivy was literally perfect the entire time and big sister, Mia was all about snuggling and getting photos with her so I'm not exaggerating at all when I say, easiest sibling photos *ever.* She balanced out that cooperative vibe though by running away during family photos and yelling, "I'm out!" every few seconds. It was hilarious and made me love her even more. 😂 Thanks for having me out, guys! I hope your days are filled with endless baby snuggles, unexpected sleep and Mia's flawless comedic timing. 😉

Backyard family sessions are quickly becoming a new fave especially when they're as beautiful as this one. Faith + Megan have been together for over 20 years and eventually decided to expand their family with their sweet girls, Grace + Sally. Their sisterly bond was so precious and I loved seeing the two of them giggling and twirling amongst their flower gardens without a care in the world. We could all learn a thing or two from them for sure! You have the most beautiful family, Faith + Megan! Thank you so much for inviting me out to document your life together. Tell the girls I've still got the flowers they cut for me in some water on my counter! ❤

Emily is a senior at Knightstown High School this year and taking on the vocational school route as a CNA as she also attends Ivy Tech for her nursing degree. Oh, and don't forget to throw a volleyball and track season in there as well this year! These kids continue to amaze me with the level of drive, responsibility and sheer determination to achieve their dreams. Emily hopes to one day be a Labor + Delivery nurse and I have no doubt she will get there! Emily, thank you so much for hanging out with me and trusting me with your senior portraits! You are truly a gem; equal parts goofy and kind and just so much fun to get to know. Wishing you the best senior year ever!

Sweetest maternity sesh with these two last night! Ashley + Ben are expecting their first baby in late August and wanted to snag a few photos to document these last remaining weeks before their little one arrives. So glad the storms and wind calmed down before our session and we had the most beautiful light to work with. 😍 Congratulations again, you guys!

A little rain on your wedding day never hurts! Especially when you get all of the photos done minutes before the storms unleashed their wrath. Whew! We really lucked out. Becca + Michael, your day was filled with so many meaningful personal touches, flawless styling and the cutest pup around, Finn. Also, the venue was absolutely gorgeous, huge shout out to Sandy Pines Golf Club. The ceremony reception spaces were just stunning. Rowen James is here and he's absolutely darling. Grace + Jon welcomed him a few weeks ago and he's already adjusting to life beautifully. Sweetest mini sesh this morning for Whitley + Bo to celebrate their upcoming Summer birthdays! Kale brought in some paint for them to use at the end and plans to hang up their art work right alongside some of these photos. How cool is that? Loved getting to see your kiddos again, they keep me on my toes for sure! Happiest of Birthdays, Titus babes! xo

Amanda + Michael are getting married this Fall so yesterday we met up for their engagement session at Newfield's. It was such a lovely day, but these two were even lovelier. They were goofy and tender and everything in between. It's so easy to see the love they have for another, which made my job virtually effortless. Thank you so much for trusting me to tell your love story! Can't wait to get you get married in October.

Double the trouble, double the fun! Lincoln and Easton came to visit me yesterday at the studio for their one year session and boy are they cute. It took a minute for them to warm up to me but after they did we were able to coax out so many giggles and smiles from them. There's even a photo I included with my hand reaching for them and it shows up in the frame. I like it so much I included it in the preview. Sometimes, it's fun to reveal the person behind the camera. ;) Jessica + Cody, you've got the sweetest family! Congratulations on making it through a year with twins! It's truly an accomplishment. xo

Okay from now on I'm only shooting in the mountains at sunset because shew these are friggen gorgeous! I had the most incredible time in Colorado this week spending time with 10 of my favorite people in the entire world and some of them just happen to be Marty + Meghan. They graciously opened up their home to those of us arriving early in Denver and I got a chance to photograph their sweet fam before we packed up and headed to Breckenridge. It was killing me I couldn't edit these until now but boy was it worth the wait. The sun, the mountains, the pups? Perfection. Thanks so much Tschida Family for being you! Love you forever.

Brooke + Kaleb got hitched this weekend on the rainiest Saturday we've had for awhile. But, bless, the skies opened up for a bit and we were able to get photos done outside just before it started back up again. Also, can we talk about these flowers? Joyce Ann's knocked it out of the park with these! They were the perfect pop of Summer colors to brighten up the day. Everything was so perfect, not even the rain could bring us down. Oh crazy, sweet Wendell was such a joy to photograph. Like most one-year-olds he was allll over the place. Happy, sad, then happy again. This was to be expected since they had just flown back in from Florida the night before, so I'm sure his schedule was all over the place. I was so floored they even made it to our session and he managed smile at all. I chased him and his Mama all over the studio to get these shots and goodness some of them just take my breath away. Happy (belated) First Birthday, buddy!

Extended family sessions are kind of the best gift you can give your parents. We did this session on a weekend when all of the family could be in town celebrating Grandma + Grandpa's 40th Anniversary. Everyone was so fun and cooperative, and though I tried to learn as many names as I could, I'm sure I ended up calling many people "Buddy or babe." 😂 So glad the weather held out and we fit it in, you have a wonderful crew!

Dreamy studio vibes for this sweet couple! Ciara + Jordan have been waiting so long to have a baby in their arms and before the Summer's over their sweet boy will be here. Ugh, guys could you be any cuter? Seriously, I'm so in love with this set! The tenderness and love with which you both hold one another is so evident and it's truly a gift to witness and document it. The last of my Spring babies is here and he's just as adorable as all of the others. Baby Weston arrived April 25th and after a short stint in the NICU he's home and thriving with Mom + Dad. Emma was worried he'd be fussy this morning, but I kid you not the only sound we heard were adorable grunts when we disturbed his sleep. 😅 He even smiled on and off, always right before or after I had my camera on him but right at the end of our session I got a *giant* smile when we dressed him up in his knit fireman outfit. Maybe he'll end up following in Bruce's footsteps someday? 😉 Thanks for having me out, Emma and Bruce! You are naturals and I can't wait to watch your journey as parents unfold. xo

Words can't express my love for this fam, and, especially my best friend who I've known for over 27 years. That was really painful to type you guys, wow, We. Are. Old. Amanda, I am continually blown away by the Mother, friend and advocate you are. You're raising the most amazing babies with Steve and it was such a joy to have you guys in front of my camera for just a few minutes this weekend. Give May + Whit giant hugs from me! Another baby is on the way for this sweet fam! We met up last night and did some exploring and creek stomping with Finley leading the way. She didn't want much to do with me, but with a little help from a creek full of rocks we did manage to get some adorable photos of her in her element.
