Grandparents really have a way of reminding us of the value of life at every stage. What are some special summer memories you've made with your grandparents or grandchildren?

Demand answers. The U.S. Army is coming under fire for a presentation at Ft. Liberty labeling major pro-life organizations as terrorist groups. Journalist Sam Shoemate exposed the terrorism briefing that was held at Fort Liberty where they listed several pro-life organizations as “terrorist organizations.”

“The slide you see here followed right after a slide about ISIS, a terror group in the Middle East,” Shoemate explained. “The organizations labeled by the army as terror organizations include National Right to Life and Operation Rescue.”

Indiana Right to Life is a state affiliate of National Right to Life.

Rep. Jim Banks, R-Ind., chairman of the Subcommittee on Military Personnel, expressed outrage and is calling for a more thorough explanation for the use of the teaching tools at Fort Liberty, formerly Fort Bragg, in North Carolina.

"This is truly shocking for an organization that insists on treating everyone with ‘dignity and respect’," Banks wrote of the slide deck, which was used as part of a larger training for military police tasked with manning base access points.

Sen. Mike Braun and Sen. Todd Young also joined in a letter to Christine Wormuth, Secretary of the Army, demanding answers.

The letter states, "Smearing Pro-Life Americans is despicable and emblematic of the ongoing politicization of the military under the Biden-Harris administration."

"The American public expects the Department of Defense and its personnel to defend the homeland from actual terrorists, not Americans who seek protections for children in the womb. Labeling Pro-Life organizations as threats challenges servicemembers’ moral obligation to defend and protect even the smallest among us. In fact, around half of all Americans identify as Pro-Life. It is no wonder that the Army is struggling to recruit young men and women to join its ranks when it appears the service attacks their values and promotes a woke agenda rather than improving readiness and lethality, " the letter continues.

Reports that Fort Liberty is walking back the issue is not enough. This outrage demands a full investigation by Congress.

"In weeks 19 and 20, the fetus shows a clear response to pain in multiple scientific studies, and early brain pathways are mature enough to create a perception of pain. The fetus also practices breathing, crying, and breastfeeding in the womb. The fetal heart has beat over 20 million times and circulates about 55 quarts of blood per day." "Scientific advancements provide clear evidence that the fetus feels pain by 15 weeks, and possibly even earlier. Eyebrows form and the fetus moves each finger separately. Boys and girls move differently in the womb, and may respond to loud noises." Learn more about the amazing voyage of life: https://lozierinstitute.org/fetal-development/weeks-15-and-16/
