Ready for a “Wild Encounter” at Zoobilation 2023 on June 9? Tickets go on sale at 9am Feb. 1. This year’s theme is Wild Encounter as we celebrate the opening of our new Entry Experience. New experiences await you as you enter the biggest party for conservation in the state. Thanks to our friends at AES Indiana, we continue to put on the most “roared” about party of the summer. See you there!

Our fabulous fashion judges reviewed the ‘ROOtiful fashion after Zoobilation 2022 and we have a winner to announce for the Best Dressed Contest - Mark Melvin & Heather Ross Melvin

Check out the 360 video below and see why the Melvins took home the Best Dressed prize! As the winner of the Best Dressed Contest, the couple will get a pair of Premium Experience tickets to Zoobilation 2023.

Our Story

Zoobilation presented by Indianapolis Power & Light Company is the regions largest black-tie fundraiser.

Each year, more than 5,000 guests come to the Indianapolis Zoo on the second Friday in June to party with a purpose, as this luxurious evening of indulgence also helps to fund the care of the Zoo’s 1,200 animals and 46,000 plants as well as its local education and global conservation initiatives.

During Zoobilation, more than 70 of Central Indiana’s most popular eateries will offer samples of their finest culinary creations as they vie for the coveted blue ribbon and people’s choice awards. Additionally, guests can sip on top-shelf cocktails, wines and other drinks while enjoying live entertainment from some of the area’s hottest bands.

The Premium Experience also offers a limited number of party goers early access to the event as well as other exclusive benefits, including opportunities to interact with some of the animals Zoobilation supports.
