Celebrating 2022!
We have highlighted some resources on and off campus that will help you find more information about the LGBTQ+ community in Indiana🏳️🌈
📣 Our Vice President, Melissa Aceves, is the Co-chair for the Opportunity to Dream Scholarship subcommittee. Along with Karina Garduno and a team of faculty and staff members, they have created a website so that donors can donate more easily to the scholarship fund! In the past, there has not been a designated spot for the IUPUI Opportunity to Dream Scholarship. However, through meetings, emails, and collaboration with the IU Foundation, the IUPUI Opportunity to Dream Scholarship is now live with its website and donate now button. 📣
Why share/donate? 💥
DID YOU KNOW: House Bill 1402 prevents undocumented students from receiving in-state tuition regardless of their residency in Indiana. students cannot receive federal or state aid in scholarships, financial aid, or grants unless it is privately funded meaning the donation comes from community members. Make an impact & share or donate! 🤝
Today, we had a great time learning together and growing together at our annual student government retreat!

We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian community during this challenging time of war, violence, and destruction. Refugees are welcomed here. We advocate for a safe and inclusive environment no matter the situation or who you are.
If you are able to, you can donate to Ukrainian relief organizations such as .for.ukraine
