THIS is what makes Outside the Box different than most other "disability day programs" - We follow a learning-based curriculum! This is Tuesday's Math Club - more and more Participants are joining and love to learn new skills :)

"Electives" are special classes/crafts offered by various groups where Participants can choose the option to be involved or not! This class was "Pipe Cleaner Bracelets!" - Each bracelet is unique to it's designer and as you can tell, they're pretty proud of their work!

We've been learning all about "Goal Setting" and these Ocean Wavers really got into it, deep thinkers, big dreamers, and always attainable for any one of them!!!

One of the favorite places to go this time of year is to our friends in Greenfield at Tuttle Orchards !!!

This Friday, the 13th has us all thinking about one of OTB's favorite holidays - Halloween!!! The Dinos worked really well together, sitting at the table!, focusing on a task as a team!, sorting through strips of paper and stapling in circles, plus each taking turns with every task at hand!

I am thankful for the seasons we get to experience in Indiana - Love Autumn! - Robbin

The Ocean Waves got super creative with Art Class last week - These pieces even went for auction at our Inside the Bottle Fundraiser!!!

They laid out 6 canvases under a tree, got some Red Solo Cups & poked some holes in the bottom, added some paint and mixed in a bit of water, attached the cups to some yarn on a tree branch and then gently released the paint cups over the canvases where each pass by all the Participants made a beautifully coordinated authentic design! The creativity by our DSP, Susie, made this a learning and creatively active lesson :)

Forever grateful for the massive support we had for "ITB" Inside the Bottle 2024 for Outside the Box last weekend! Special thanks to the Fishers Indiana Government for amazing support and to Fadness as well! Our additional campus in Fishers is thriving because of this great relationship :). Parks

Indianapolis & Fishers

Yesterday was quite the fun-filled day at the Indianapolis Zoo for the Leopards, Astronauts, & Starbursts groups!!! The elephants were for sure a big hit to watch and hang around.

Special thanks to the Groups' DSP's for planning such a fun activity for their Participants at OTB Main Campus :)

Loving this new sunny cool weather! The Chargers took advantage of it for some outdoor soccer!

HUGE thanks to the City of Fishers, Fishers Indiana Government, the amazing sponsors, donors, OTB staff, OTB Choir, Studio OTB artists, and so many more for such a memorable ITB last night! Big shout out to our own Kyrie F with making this night such a huge success :)
