Since the beginning of this shop we have been slinging . And, since the beginning, Sweet Bloom has not faltered on quality. I think that this alone should get you to come in and try a pour over. If you like it, then buy a bag of it to make at home.

Remember, some of these coffees are from smaller lots, so that means once it’s gone, you won’t see it again for a long while.

After three and a half years at fix!, today marks my (Joey!) final shift. This next week, I move on to Ann Arbor, Michigan, as my dear partner, Emily, begins grad school at the University of Michigan. I started at this job when I was just 20 years old, after being a regular customer for some time. I was lucky Zak was willing to take a chance on me with hiring me. Zak, Alex, Conrad, Eric, Drue, every barista who has ever stepped behind the bar, and every relationship I’ve built with our repeat customers these past years have been deeply meaningful to me. While I feel ready to move on and am over the moon about this new journey, I will miss this place immensely. fix! coffee is one in a million. I will be here until noon today, so come get one last drink from me. All the love, fix! and Iowa City 💓💓💓

Iowa City summer has officially arrived! Our corner of the world tends to slow down this time of year, so we’re cutting our hours down just a bit. Starting June 1st and going through July, our hours are:

7am-3pm Monday-Friday
7am-5pm Saturdays
8am-4pm Sundays

We’ll catch you around, maybe for some chill time with a blue jasmine matcha on the balcony. Be well! ☀️
