On behalf of the HighTechLending Family, we wanted to extend our heartfelt sorrow at the unexpected passing of Don Currie, President of HighTechLending, Devoted Husband to Vena and Adoring Father of Grace Currie.
Don has been a mortgage professional for over forty years. Don served as President/Co-Owner of HighTechLending.
HighTechLending, Inc., a Top 10 Reverse Lender nationwide with platforms in Retail, Wholesale, Reverse and Servicing is based in Irvine, CA and have over 40 branches and are licensed in 18 states.
Founded by Don Currie and Erika Macias in 2007, the corporate vision is continuing to expand its national reverse footprint with confidence and integrity and always maintaining the perfect branch platform thanks to its exceptional staff, efficient operations, and commitment to seniors. HighTechLending, Inc will continue to stand strong in his vision of success.
Don attended California State University of Northridge and was the Past President and Board Member of California Association of Mortgage Professionals Orange County (CAMP-OC).
We often say that the hour of death cannot be forecasted. When we say this, we imagine this hour would be in a distant future.
We wish everyone could be so lucky to work with someone like Don once in their lifetime. We are so grateful for the time we were able to spend with you and believe that the Angels are rejoicing because one of their own has rejoined them.
An author once said, "A great leader will deflect credit to his people. A bad leader will look to take the credit”, Don was in the former category, working tirelessly with his peers in the mortgage industry. His impact on the mortgage industry will be felt and remembered.
As we know, Don you will for-ever be in spirit. Till we meet again beautiful soul, rest in Peace.
