Over the next few months, we will take a couple of breaks from the book of Acts and look at different topics throughout scripture that we desire to grow in as a church. Join us tomorrow as we see the importance of Christ-centered corporate worship from Hebrews 10.

This is a great opportunity for our whole church to gather together and continue to meet and interact with all of our members. Holy Week starts this Sunday! We will gather throughout the week to reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as a whole church. Be sure to go to firstirving.org/holyweek to see more details on all our events and services.

SPRING FORWARD! Don't forget to set your clocks ahead before turning in tonight, March 9th. Daylight Savings Time begins on Sunday, March 10, at 2 a.m.

This Sunday we will see a grace greater than fear in Acts 4:32-5:11. Come, and invite your neighbors as well, as we gather at 10:45 in English and 12:30 in Spanish.

This Sunday, come ready to sing "O For A Thousand Tongues to Sing". This great hymn speaks clearly of the mighty works of God, and calls us to praise Him, and proclaim His glories in response. See all the songs we will be singing this week at firstirving.org/worship

After healing the lame man, and preaching Christ to all in the Temple, Peter and John are now brought before the rulers, elders, and scribes in Jerusalem to give an answer for what has just happened. Last week in the book of Acts we saw more signs and wonders as a lame man was made to walk by Christ, through the apostles. Reread all of chapter three this week as we see Peters' sermon following that miraculous healing.

Last week we learned more about the Holy Spirit and His work in testifying to the mighty works of God. Listen to the song "Holy Spirit, Living Breath of God" as we prepare to sing it in service this week, and remind each other the truths of who our great God is through this song.

This week we will continue to see the Gospel being spread throughout Jerusalem. Read all of Peter's sermon in Acts 2:14-41 and consider the beauty of the Gospel as we gather together this Sunday.

In last week's passage we saw the example of the Apostles relying on the word of God and prayer as they waited for the arrival of the Holy Spirit. We hope you will find time this week in your homes and small groups to spend time in prayer and reflect on the passage.
