Hello, I'm Brooke! I'm just a ball of joy and energy waiting to light up your life. My days are filled with excitement, and I can't help but jump up and down when I see someone coming to play with me. I'm gentle, though, and my friendly nature means I get along with everyone I meet. My goofy side always brings smiles and laughter to those around me. I have a heart full of love to give and I can't wait to share it with a forever family. If you're looking for a sweet, energetic, and loving companion, I'm your girl!

Pupdate @ 2pm 💔
Despite our plea.
Despite our post this morning being shared over 300 times.
Despite our flash adoption sale.
The day is half way over, and we have not done one single dog adoption. 😭

We are all hoping the second half of today is a better day. Thank you for the love and support you have for our shelter pets too. We see you all, and thank you!

Pupdate on our girl Bitsy:

We know some of you may have seen that Bitsy was adopted, but we are here to tell you her story and to inform her followers that she has been returned to AAS. Yesterday afternoon Bitsy was adopted by a wonderful citizen who was not only very excited to have a new best friend in her home, but to also give Bitsy a new doggie friend to enjoy life with.
In all adoption situations, we cannot guarantee how home life will go for the pet, the new adopter or any previously owned pets already in that home. In Bitsy’s case, when you add hearing impaired/deafness into the mix, it can be a difficult situation for all to navigate. We want to emphasize to everyone that this adopter tried. This adopter also did what was best for Bitsy in letting us know she needed to be returned as soon as possible, but she also did what was best for the dog she already owned and loves very much.

The team at Arlington Animal Services is committed to trying our very hardest for this dog that we know so many of you have fallen in love with. Bitsy will now be VIP Rescue Only Dog. We hope that with the help of the amazing rescue partners we work with daily, we can come up with a plan and find a loving and safe environment that will accommodate Bitsy’s special needs. Bitsy already has something that a lot of homeless dogs don’t have, and that’s thousands of people rooting for her. As we work to find her new positive outcome, we ask for your patience and support. We are also committed to updating you and letting you know what is going on and will provide more updates when we have them. Bitsy needs her fans and supporters to keep rooting for her! You all truly rock and we are so thankful for your support!

***We ask for there be no negative comments towards the adopter or towards Bitsy. Again, we are thankful Bitsy had a responsible pet owner who knew what to do when things did not work out.
We want a positive post and the kindness of all her followers to go viral too!
Remember, working together as a community, we will improve the lives of animals!
