Hello Lively families!

We have created a plan that allows families to celebrate the end of the year with their students even with the cancelled ceremonies and lost days due to the power outages. Therefore, we are hosting end of year class celebrations that are now open to guests! We have certain restrictions due to our limited space but we are excited to open our doors to end the year strong!

We have a PreK-4th grade celebration schedule and a separate 5th grade celebration schedule.

Important Details:
• Guests can line-up and check-in at any exterior door starting at 8:45a.
• Only 1 guest per student is allowed.
• Guests must pre-register using a provided link below. This helps us with safety, security, and speeds up check-in so you have more time with your students!
• IDs/Dismissal Tags needed for early sign-out.
• Photo backdrops will be available ALL around the building for you to take pictures.

Good morning, Irving ISD Families,

Due to the disaster declaration and power outages brought about by ongoing severe weather conditions, all classes, after school and UIL activities have been canceled today Wednesday, May 29. The Irving ISD Administration Building and all Irving ISD schools will also remain closed. Due to additional daily instructional minutes built into the calendar, students and staff will NOT have to make up these days.

We will continue to monitor weather conditions and the restoration of power at all of our facilities daily and will inform you immediately through School Messenger phone call and email, the official Irving ISD social media platforms and at IrvingISD.net/WeatherUpdates.

With additional inclement weather conditions forecast for this evening, we will continue to monitor the weather overnight. Oncor is working diligently to restore and maintain power at all of our impacted campuses and Central Administration. However, if that doesn’t happen, we will have a plan in place that will be communicated by 5:30 AM tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29.

‼️Power Outage Relocation Plan‼️

Due to the fact that power has not been successfully restored at the affected campuses communicated earlier, here is the relocation plan for the parents who are not able to pick up their child at 10 AM. Parents may still pick up their child after 10 AM; however, they will have to do so from the relocation point designated for the affected campus. The list goes as follows. Please note, buses will run from the relocations at the end of the school day:

Cardwell Career Preparatory Center will be relocated to de Zavala Middle School.

Irving High School will be relocated to de Zavala Middle School.

MacArthur High School will be relocated to Singley Academy.

Travis Middle School will be relocated to Houston Middle School.

Thank you Irving PD for hosting the Annual Safety Patrol Camp!

Our 4th graders in training left full from pizza, wiser in all things safety patrol, and eager to serve in this role at school next year!

This past Saturday, our students participated in a 7 on 7 football tournament at Irving High School. We competed against other elementaries and showcased our Lively Cheer Squad. Thank you to all families who came and supported. We had the largest turnout out of ALL campuses! Looking forward to next year!

Please congratulate Ms. M Mendoza, our 24-25 Lively Teacher of the Year, who was acknowledged at the Irving Independent School District Teacher of the Year event last night. We are so proud of her!
