Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. We had the best time celebrating Christmas with our SWTN FCA Leadership Board last night! Barry & Brenda are the best party planners and game show hosts!

*please share!* Our annual FCA Spirit Night was an incredible celebration of all the Lord is doing through our ministry!
We heard testimonies from local FCA character coaches Glenn Miller, Josh Ward, and Angela Snider along with staff updates from Travis Morton, Barry and Brenda Cox. We heard a powerful word from Sarah Roberts, Oklahoma University Chaplain, and concluded with a sweet time of prayer over our coaches.
After our fundraising dinner, Sarah met with athletes and coaches from Union University where we recently launched an all-athlete FCA Club. Sarah encouraged them and answered their questions about how to grow closer to Jesus and then use their influence for greater good.
We are so amazed by all the ways the Lord answers our Ephesians 3:20 prayers for this ministry! The harvest is PLENTY with many coaches asking for help with their teams. We would LOVE for you to join us in encouraging them!
We need your prayers, your financial support and your time - with more volunteers we hope to reach as many as possible across Southwest Tennessee. It's a great time for you to jump in!

Update on Spirit Night - IT WAS EXACTLY AS THE LORD INTENDED IT TO BE!
Special thanks to the speakers who opened our eyes to the impact FCA has on their local community: Michael Sparks, former area director of FCA; Angela Snider, FCA Board Chair; Dr. Logan Hampton, Lane College President; Houston Payne, FCA Board Member; and Taylor Hill, student-athlete.
And a very special thank you to the supportive attendees who make it possible to further the transformation of the ten different counties FCA of Southwest Tennessee has contact with!
We look forward to the coming year and hope that you stay connected and involved with your local FCA!
A few weeks ago FCA of Southwest Tennessee assisted in The Dodgeball Tournament of 2022 where eight churches from west Tennessee came together and hosted 850 students from the area; junior and senior high school students participated and made the most of the evening. Director of Southwest Tennessee's FCA, Barry Cox, was the main speaker, and many students stood up in front of their peers to acknowledge the decision for Christ they had just made moments before.
It was a great night to say the least! Thank you to the powerful partnership of the ministries from west Tennessee that worked together to encourage the young people in our area!

Our 5th Annual Spirit Night was a HUGE success this year!! We celebrated athletes, coaches, testimonies, and our Veteran’s on November 11th out at The Barn at Snider Farms!! We raised $22,160 towards 2 new staff members to help serve our area!! Our goal was $24K, so for will you consider making a one time or monthly donation towards this ministry that is growing by leaps and bounds!!
