🌞 Happy First Day of Summer from New Season! 🌞
As the sun shines brighter and the days grow longer, we welcome the warmth and energy that summer brings. It's a season for outdoor adventures, spending time with loved ones, and embracing new beginnings.
At New Season, we encourage you to make the most of this season while prioritizing your health and well-being. We're here to support you every step of the way.
Take advantage of the longer days and warmer weather to focus on self-care, growth, and positivity.
Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It's a time to reflect on our nation's history and the ongoing fight for equality and justice for all.
At New Season, we stand in solidarity with the Black community and acknowledge the importance of this historic day. We are committed to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equity in everything we do, including providing compassionate care and support for those affected by opioid use disorder.
This Juneteenth, let's come together to honor the past, celebrate progress, and renew our commitment to building a brighter future for all. Join us in advocating for change and spreading awareness about the significance of Juneteenth.

June 6th is recognized as National Naloxone Awareness Day to raise awareness for life-saving overdose reversal medications, like naloxone. When Victoria Siegel passed away from an accidental drug overdose nine years ago, first responders were not equipped with overdose reversal medication, and she became another statistic.
As the opioid crisis continues to impact families and communities nationwide, today aims to educate people on the dangers of opioid use and the importance of access to life-saving overdose reversal medications.
Join us in honoring Victoria’s memory and acknowledging David and Jackie Siegel’s hard work and advocacy with Victoria’s Voice Foundation. Their mission to fight the drug crisis in our country allows Victoria’s memory and voice to live on in the many lives they have dedicated themselves to saving.

PINELLAS COUNTY: Did you know that in 2022, one person died of an overdose every 14 hours in Pinellas County? Nearly 80% of those deaths were from opioid use. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of opioids like fentanyl, providing crucial minutes for first responders to begin treatment.
June 6 is Revive Awareness Day, a day to highlight the importance of using Naloxone to save lives. A bystander witnessing an overdose can administer this easy-to-use medication before calling 9-1-1 for help.
We are proud to work with several agencies as part of the county’s Opioid Task Force to stress the importance of making Naloxone more available and teaching people how to use it. We offer Naloxone for free at our Bay Area and St. Petersburg treatment centers in Pinellas County.
Naloxone is also available at no cost from these partnering organizations: Recovery Epicenter Foundation, the Florida Department of Health in Pinellas County, WestCare GulfCoast, New Season Treatment Center, IDEA Exchange Pinellas, the Florida Harm Reduction Collective, and all Florida Department of Health locations across the state.
