Alabama North NYI Convention
The Alabama North NYI Convention is happening at Union Hill Church of the Nazarene on Saturday, April 20, 2024. The convention will start at 10 am. Following the informational portion of the convention, free lunch will be provided, followed by games and fun! We hope you will join us. Please let Bethany Martin (913-702-7184) know by Saturday, April 13, if you plan to attend.

Alabama North Teen Camp
Alabama North Teen Camp is happening in the Jasper, Alabama, area from June 10 until June 14, 2024. The registration and cost will be shared on April 20 at the Alabama North NYI Convention.

The Becoming Conference
The Calling Cooperative is proud to provide the Becoming Conference, a four-day (Wednesday, June 26 through Saturday, June 29) residential experience at Trevecca Nazarene University that combines vocational training with individual and corporate worship, biblical instruction, service learning, and fun—all designed to assist students in discovering their call to vocational ministry.
*Due to complications, registration through Alabama North will be done via Google Form. Bethany Martin will report registration information to Trevecca Nazarene University.

*Cost of Event
-Early Bird Cost for Students (Registration turned in by April 10): $225
-After April 10 (Student Cost): $275
-Adult Cost: $175
*YES Track
The YES track (must be in grades 9-12 for the 2023-2024 school year) is designed for students interested in further discovery concerning vocational, pastoral ministry. Do you sense God is calling you to be a pastor? A missionary? Youth, children, or worship pastor? The YES track is the track for you.
Please note: An additional application process and interview are required for this track.
*Mission Nashville Track
The Mission Nashville track (must be in grades 7-12 for the 2023-2024 school year) is designed for students who may want to study fields outside of church ministry but are just as interested in growing as disciples of Jesus. This track utilizes service and exploration to discover how God might use a person's gifts to make a difference in the world. Learning labs: Story, Compassion, Worship, and Community

Happy 2024! The Alabama North NYI Council is excited for this upcoming year. We have some important events and dates coming up! Please share the following information with teens and parents.

January 5-6, 2024 (8 pm until 8 am)
ALN NYI District Lock-In hosted by Gardendale Church of the Nazarene
Cost: $25 (This includes go-karting, rollerblading, laser tag, and food.)

January 20, 2024 (10 am)
ALN NYI Teen Day at Faith Church of the Nazarene
Cost: FREE!
Faith is hosting a Teen Day! There will be games and time for fellowship with one another. Faith will be providing lunch!

TNT @ TNU is April 4-7, 2024

We have some fun events coming up!

We are grateful for Covenant Church of the Nazarene's hospitality and generosity this weekend!

What an amazing weekend at Covenant Church of the Nazarene!!! We were honored to host Alabama North NYI for TNT 2023 and Breakaway!!

It’s great to be a part of the Family of God and Alabama North District Church of the Nazarene!! This picture is after the concluding service and unfortunately after many people had already left. It’s still a great group of people!! God’s Word was lived out as well as sown in so many lives!!

Alabama North Breakaway 2023 has come to an end. We are thankful for the time together yesterday and today. We want to thank Pastor Luis Arguedas for bringing the message yesterday morning, evening, and this morning. Another thank you to Covenant Church of the Nazarene and Pastor Greg Tinker for hosting the Alabama North District, Jim Odom and his team for great worship, the tech team, and all of the volunteers who made this event an enormous success! We are already counting down the days for next year!
