Thank you to everyone who came by Wednesday or Thursday this week to help us have a successful yearbook distribution.
We recognize that not everyone was able to make it, so if you are not returning to Washington next year (because you graduated, for exmapme) and still need to pick up your yearbook you can do so by calling the Washington main office at (913) 627-7800 and asking for Akilah Harrold, school treasurer. She will be able to make an appointment for you to pick up your yearbook. If you are returning to Washington this fall, we ask that you wait to pick up your yearbook when school resumes.
If you didn't purchase a yearbook, you are in luck because we have a few extras for sale! Books are the same price they've been since February ($55). If you are interested in purchasing a yearbook, fill out this Google Form and you will be contacted to set up an appointment time to come pick it up:
https://forms.gle/13DvRmUWye6bNqGZ8
The treasurer can accept checks, money orders, and cash (exact change please).
Also, we've received several questions recently regarding seniors getting free yearbooks. Seniors have not received a free yearbook in the past at Washington High School. Prior to this school year, seniors paid a senior fee and part of that fee included their yearbook. That fee was eliminated this year and therefore if seniors want a yearbook, they must purchase one individually.
Remember all yearbook sales go back into the yearbook program so our students can learn valuable skills including photography, graphic design, marketing, journalism, and production management!
Yearbook Purchase Interest Form Fill out this Google Form if you are interested in purchasing Washington High School's 2019-2020 yearbook. Yearbooks are $55. We have a limited number remaining for purchase. The school treasurer can accept checks, money orders, or cash (exact change please). Cards are not accepted. To limit contact...
Missing the traditional yearbook signing process? We actually have a digital yearbook signing program, provided through Jostens, that anyone from Washington High School can use to leave digital signatures for their friends and classmates. It's completely free!
Just go to https://yearbooksigning.jostens.com/create-digital-book
After you create your signature pages, you can send the link to anyone who you'd like to sign it. You can keep the signed pages as a digital file, or print them out!
The yearbooks are IN!
We thank everyone for their patience throughout this time and are happy to say we have finally received our shipment of yearbooks. For those who have already purchased a yearbook, you can pick them up on Wednesday, July 15th from 9-12 or Thursday, July 16th from 1-3 in the front circle drive at Washington high school.
You do not need to exit your vehicle. A staff member, wearing a mask for your safety, will meet you and bring the book to your vehicle.
If you have questions or concerns regarding the yearbooks or distribution process, please direct them to the yearbook sponsor: [email protected]
You can still purchase a 2020 Yearbook while supplies last!
We have not sold out of yearbooks quite yet, but we are getting close. If you have not yet purchased one and would like to do so, you can online at jostensyearbooks.com
We expect the yearbooks to be shipped in June and will distribute them as soon as we can!
