Are you pregnant? Or have you recently had a baby? Do you have questions? Are you wondering if there are any resources available? Or if there is someone you can talk with?

We are a pregnancy resource center located in Kansas City. Our office hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am until 2pm (Wednesdays we are open until 4pm)

If you want to talk at other times then our worldwide office has a chat line that is staffed by volunteers that you can use anytime day or night. Birthright.org I've tried to put a graphic together to show you the chat button on the bottom right corner of their webpage.

Are any of you artists?

CALLING ALL ARTISTS: share your creativity to help Kansas City families! We're inviting submissions of artwork for The Art of Home Gala, a group exhibition and auction in support of Flourish, Kansas City’s only furniture bank.

The show will explore the creativity that goes into furnishing an empty space exemplified by Flourish guests choosing furnishings to transform their home. Artists' unique creations will explore the idea of “making home”, providing critical support to provide free home furnishings for families overcoming housing insecurity.

Artworks in the exhibition will be auctioned to raise funds to collect, repair, and rehome furniture and household essentials with Kansas City families who have lost their homes. The exhibition will be on display during a one-night Gala event on November 2nd at Unity Village, with a digital exhibition on display through December.

Share your creative interpretation of what it means to make a house a home! Artworks can be in any medium. Artworks do not need to be complete at the time of entry. Participating artists will receive two free tickets to the event and a feature on Flourish’s website and social media, among other benefits. Submissions should be entered online at flourishfurniturebank.org/artofhome.

The deadline for entry is Tuesday, September 3rd. Artists will be notified by Tuesday, September 10th, and completed artworks must be dropped off by Saturday, October 12th. Please see the complete artist guidelines on the website!
