Day 3: Today, we not only redefined our mission and vision, but also laid the foundation for the future of Central Middle School. A huge shout out to all the stakeholders who attended—you all brought incredible insight and passion. The camaraderie was unmatched. I have no doubt that we are dedicated, devoted, and determined to the GRIND and IHEAR principles. We will continue to . Watch us soar!

Take me out to the ballgame! Ms. Holder, a teacher at Central Middle School, spent her birthday at the K this past week. Cheers to you and your dedication to Kansas City students! ⚾️

Day 2: We put in the GRIND and had thoughtful discussions that brought out the best in everyone present. 🌟 We also created a visual representations of our vision and wrote out mission statements. 🎨✍🏾

Some standout words and phrases from today included: Warhawk Cadets, Never ending, I HEAR, collaboration over competition, and 3D. 🎉

🎉 How do you feel when something you’ve planned turns out phenomenal? Right, ecstatic!!! 🎉 Day 1 of the Redefining CMS Mission & Vision was a success! We went over our foundation, Mantra, Core Values, and broke down the G.R.I.N.D. It was engaging, collaborative, and safe!

🌹🌺Motivational Monday just got a major uplift, thanks to VP Claxton's incredibly inspiring message this morning! In a world where finding your inner strength can sometimes feel like seeking a rose among thorns, VP Claxton reminded us all of the power of discovering the rose within. 🌱
Through a blend of personal anecdotes and powerful quotes, he brought to life five core values that are essential for growth and success: Accountability, Excellence, Honesty, Integrity, and Relationships. His words weren't just heard; they were felt, resonating deep within us, leaving us in awe of his resilience and wisdom. 🌺
