What a spooktacular morning at Pembroke Hill's Wornall Campus Ghost Walk! It was fantastic to see our students and families in their creative costumes, spreading joy and laughter all around. Thank you for joining us in the Halloween spirit! We hope everyone had a hauntingly good time!
What a fantastic Homecoming weekend at Pembroke Hill!
We moved the traditional Homecoming parade to the Ward Parkway campus this year, and it was a sight to see! Lower, middle and upper school students got to cheer on their classmates. Then came the pep rally and the powderpuff football game.
Friday night, we crowned our Homecoming royalty and cheered our Raider football team to another big win - securing an undefeated regular season record! A huge thank you to all the alumni who returned to celebrate with us—it was wonderful to see our community come together.
What an incredible start to our Homecoming festivities at Pembroke Hill! Today, our youngest Raiders in the early childhood building welcomed upper school students to the Wornall Campus for a morning full of fun and excitement.
From playing in classrooms to learning cheers with our cheerleaders, and meeting the one and only Roscoe the Raider, it was a memorable day filled with laughter and school spirit! Let’s keep the celebration going!

Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming back alum Christopher Bailey '82, who shared his inspiring journey with our Upper School students. As the Arts and Health Lead at the World Health Organization and co-founder of the Jameel Arts and Health Lab, Christopher is at the forefront of integrating arts into health initiatives.
His work focuses on building a global network of research centers to explore how the arts can enhance physical, mental, and social well-being, especially in underserved communities.
Thank you, Christopher, for your impactful insights and for being a shining example of how Pembroke Hill graduates make a difference in the world!
Pembroke Hill is once again well represented among this year’s National Merit Semifinalists! These nine seniors represent 10 percent of the 2025 senior class. Approximately 16,000 students in the country demonstrated unparalleled academic achievement on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) exam taken last year and were recognized as Semifinalists.
Additionally, three students were honored as National Recognition Program awardees. These distinctions are based on meeting score requirements from the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10 or AP Exams.

Senior Mason Renner has clinched the top spot in the nation for Extemporaneous Debate—an incredible accomplishment showcasing his skill and the dedication of the entire Pembroke Hill team in helping him prep for each round.
Jimmy O'Connell '24 secured a remarkable sixth place in Policy Debate, highlighting his talent and hard work at such a prestigious level.

🎉✨ The Pembroke Hill theater department won its first Blue Star Award in 17 years from Starlight Theatre! 🏆🌟 Senior Salem Deel and the incredible lighting crew for Les Misérables earned the award for Outstanding Lighting Design.
Modeled after Broadway’s Tony Awards®, Starlight’s annual Blue Star Awards recognize achievement and excellence in musical theatre among Kansas City area high school students.

🏆 Pembroke Hill celebrated three incredible honorees at the 2024 Missouri Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Sunday, May 19!
Our boys tennis program, with a legacy spanning over 70 years, has earned its well-deserved spot in the Hall of Fame! With 23 state titles and 44 appearances at the Missouri State Championships, their dedication and talent are unmatched. 🎾
Our beloved former boys and girls tennis coach, Dale Eshelbrenner, was also immortalized in the Hall of Fame, inducted by his family and widow, Sara Eshelbrenner. Dale’s leadership and passion for tennis captured 20 state titles, leaving an indelible mark on our school and the Missouri tennis community. His legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched. 🎾🏆
Golf legend Tom Watson ’67 received the Missouri Sports Legend Award! As an alumnus of Pembroke Hill’s predecessor school, Pembroke-Country Day, Tom's exceptional career and dedication to golf continues to inspire us all. 🏌️♂️
