FYI – This Club was founded with U12/U15/HS Rugby(U12/U15 were the first in Texas playing tackle Rugby). At one point we had U9, U11, U13, U15, JV and HS teams and won the HS State Championship in 2007, ’09, 2011. Over the years we have added Men’s and Women’s Rugby. The youth contributed to several new area teams but, Covid killed off the last of our Youth program a few years ago. I restarted it last year to prove it could be done. With some recruiting assistance from you all and some active leadership it could once again be the pride of Texas.

Alliance Rugby Club AGM will be held August 5th 11am-1pm (ish) @ Keller Ice House. Attendees should expect:
• Annual review (financial, competitive, growth, etc)
• Election of new Executive Officers
• President
• Vice President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Youth Director
• Gameplan/Update for 2023-2024 competitive season
• Ending with Q&A for the current executive and coaching staff

The Club team and Youth season have wound down. I believe the HS team has a few games left. I am trying to gauge interest in HS 7’s for the Summer. Usually about 3-4 Tournaments. Dallas, Austin, Corpus(Beach Rugby 7’s) then Houston or OK.

If we have 12-14 players or more of our own we’ll give it a go. If not I can find teams for you to play with.

The Club will start 7’s training April 18th and do 6:30-8:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Most likely at Keller Middle School.

Instead of the Mcnab Pitch, we are going to be at the other side of campus. The field we are going to use is in better condition. The only downside is it does not have posts, and is a little smaller than Mcnab, but neither of those things matter much for 7U-11U. Here is a map. The field and parking is circled in red. You will use Gorman Drive to access either of the parking lots. One lot is behind Clark Hall. The other is at the bottom of the hill between Maher Athletic Center and the field. Looking forward to the matches on Saturday.

I won't be there as the Men are in Little Rock. Look for Coach Kevin!

3/11/23 – Proposal from Plano
There are no scheduled games as it is spring break. We just wanted to give the kids an opportunity to play some games for fun. I was thinking of forming barbarian squads from the various programs and letting them play games. 7s/10s/ whatever works. We have two full fields and could let 7u and 9u play on half of one. Between the various clubs we could have a good turn out. We have pennies and some old jersey sets we could use too. We would also want to have families bring food to have a social. Thinking something like 930 to 1200-100pm. The idea would be to get the kids and coaches together who are around together to build the community. If there is limited interest we could still do all age touch.
