With hearts full of faith, Noonday Baptist Church came together this past Sunday to pray over our teacher and school, seeking guidance and blessings for the journey ahead. We're all in for a year of blessings, laughter, and learning! 🙏🏻📚🌟

Ooops!! We got so caught up in all the excitement that we missed last night's countdown post!! Guess we were too excited for the big day - only 2 more sleeps until preschool! But now worries, because tomorrow's the first day, and we are ready to kick off an amazing year. The countdown is complete, and we can't wait to see all the little ones in the morning! 🎒✨️

Only 7 more sleeps until school starts!! Our teachers went back today to get started with preparing for the upcoming school year. We can't wait to meet our new friends and show them all of the things we set up for them!

Praying for all the kids going back to school today as well as the teachers, bus drivers, lunch staff, admin, custodians, coaches, and anyone else working for the school system. It's going to be an amazing school year!

This is such a beautiful and easy prayer to say with your little one each night before bed. It's a quick little add-on to a bedtime story and teaches your child to open up communication between them and God. God is our father, and he knows our hearts. We can come to him with our praises and our needs.

🌟LIFE HACK: While you're out shopping for school clothes, save one of these kid pant hangers! It's perfect for hanging your carpool number on your rear view mirror. The teachers will be able to see it better, and you can put it up and take it down with ease!

Today we pray for the families effected by this event. We pray for the former president whether we agree with his decisions or not. We pray that we are reminded that our faith and hope is in Jesus and not in a politician. We pray that we come together as a community rather than further segregated. We pray for you and yours. 🩵

Parenting is hard and patience run thin. Keep this prayer in your back pocket for the hard days. For the days where your kiddo is being extra tough. Pray it even on the good days.
Speak life into everyone around you. We promise it will make a huge difference, not only on them but on you as well.

At Noonday we love Sensory Fun! Kids learn through play and there are so many benefits to sensory bins.
You can read about all the benefits of sensory play below. Along with a few examples of sensory bins, and even a picture of some of our own friends playing in a corn sensory bin from Ms. Kelsey's class.
The best part is, you can make them with things you have around the house! Or buy stuff from the dollar store for really cheap!
For younger kids be sure to keep a close eye so they don't eat non-edible bin fillers. For older kids make it more challenging by putting puzzle pieces inside for them to dig around and find. Then have them put the puzzle pieces in the right spots.
⚠️Be warned! Sensory bins can be MESSY but oh so much fun!!⚠️

🌞Week 2, Day 5 of Summer Camp! And thats a wrap! Today we learned that "our Heavenly Father takes care of us".
What a fun last day! Pizza, picnics, chalk, and outdoor crafts.
Thank you so much for sharing your kiddos with us this summer. We had so much fun!

🌞Week 2, Day 4 of Summer Camp! Today we learned that "we are growing and changing but our future is bright". Isn't that true for all of us even as grown ups. Growing may not be physical change but it can be mental, emotional, and spiritually.
Jeremiah 29:11 says ‭"For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
Don't forget tomorrow is Pizza Day!!

🌞Week 2, Day 3 of Summer Camp! Today we learned that "we all contribute something. It takes us all working together". Who doesn't love pancakes, especially HAPPY pancakes?! Day 3 was so much! We can't wait to enjoy 2 more days of summer camp!

🌞Week 2, Day 2 of Summer Camp! Today we learned that "God takes care of the smallest things (like flowers) - He will take care of us". We planted marigolds today! Marigolds need lots of sunlight, so be sure to keep those in the sunniest parts of your house! We even had some dance parties!

🌞Week 2, Day 1 of Summer Camp! This week we learned to "be happy with who you are". The Mixed-Up Chameleon taught us that we can wish to be a lot of things but nothing is better than being us. We are all unique!
Can't wait to see what all we have in store for this week of summer camp.
