I've been out of commission for a little while due to my ongoing thumb injury of De Quervain's tisenosynovitis. The good news is that in six days I'm having surgery to fix it. Soon I'll be able to work without thumb pain!

What are flour sacks used for? Pretty much anything! They are wonderful at absorbing liquids. They make great kitchen towels, hand towels, burp cloths, and napkins. You could even hang them up to make a beautiful tapestry!
