Hello all! Thank you so much for all your kind words from my post yesterday. It really means a lot to me that you took the time. Much love! And on another note…the link to this video is in the comments now! Go check out this crazy video!!!
Ok guys…I don’t usually post these feelings posts but today I’m in my feelings a bit. I have had a channel on YouTube for over 4 years now and I have put out 1 video per week all those years (except a few times). Of course during Covid my channel did very well and I was making some money from it. As of late, my channel views have steady declined and what YouTube is paying is also. Maybe people just aren’t interested in the content anymore, maybe people aren’t really watching YouTube as much and creating because of their busy lives, idk. The videos I make take a lot of time. I do not talk through my videos so I always have to go back and edit content down to a reasonable time frame that people want to watch and then voice over to share what I am doing, my materials, my process, etc. These videos take MANY HOURS to create. The money I am being compensated by YouTube does not even begin to pay me for that. I understand that that is not your problem…lol! What I’m getting at is…is it worth it for me to continue? Setting up for these videos, filming content, editing etc… takes a lot of time and I have to admit…I would much rather go into my studio and just not worry about the cameras, worry about the lighting, worry about if my piece is in view, adjusting my camera, mark my pins from my canvas on my table cloth so that the piece is always on view on camera, and so many more things. And it can be very discouraging when you go through all that trouble, are excited to share content and your views are abysmal. When I create…it’s for me, but when I share on socials and on my channel it’s for you all. Anyway, I think it’s just one of those days I just had to get my feelings out. Much love to all of you who have been loyal watchers…it means the world to me. ❤️
Btw…this is a photo of a video I will be releasing today using polymer clay as my texture.
Hello my lovely friends! Here is some news about the Fluid Art Experience - Learn Live & Be Inspired now postponed until March! I hope this will open up a greater opportunity for more of you to come and take our classes! ❤️❤️
You might have heard! The September Fluid Art Experience - Learn Live & Be Inspired has been postponed. Due to lower than usual ticket sales, a Presidential year, lots of other painting event options, we made the decision to move the Experience to March 2025. That's 14th to 16th March 2025 to be exact.
We also have the exciting opportunity to add Sara Taylor of sarataylor.modernart into the schedule and we couldn't be happier to have her part of the Experience once more.
The www.fluidartexperience.com website is in the process of being amended but you can go NOW and book tickets for all classes and all teachers under the new schedule.
Thank you to those that have already booked and are coming with us to the new dates. And we welcome all the new students who we will see in March. We can't wait to see you soon.
Good morning! Blooming again! In case you missed it…here is the link to my lastest bloom video with my new pouring medium which I absolutely love!
Colors: TLP Prehnite, Lakeside, Velvet; Tri-Art Turquoise Phthalo, Golden Iridescent Gold Fine

Come see me at the Racine Starving Artist Fair this Sunday 9am-4pm! Can’t wait!
Updated this pearl pour with some sweet texture flowers. The TLP Ballet Slipper is my favorite part of the background. It’s all framed and ready for the Racine Starving Artist Fair this Sunday from 9am-4pm. If you are in the area stop by and say hi!
I’m a little nervous to post this but here I go… This is the final piece after I painted the texture all one color for my previous post. I will show you the before and after(The before pic is in the comments). I accidentally used two types of medium. If you missed that post you can scroll through my page and check it out. I have an art show I’m participating in this weekend at Racine Starving Artist Fair and I feel like it needed to be all the same color for sales purposes. I just mixed my paint color I wanted, taped off the rest of the painting (which was horribly time consuming because of all the grooves and the ends), and then varnished it with matte varnish. Let me know what you think? Do you prefer the before or after?
Combining fluid art & texture FLOORED ME in this GORGEOUS piece!
Todays tip!!!! Here’s the difference between Golden Extra Heavy Semi-Gloss Gel and Extra Heavy Modeling Paste. The same colors but the modeling paste (marble dust included in modeling paste) color dries lighter and stiffer and the gel (no marble dust) so it dries clear and true to color. This color is Phthalo Turquoise from Tri-Art. This was not on purpose. I forgot I started with the gel and when I needed to mix more I just mixed the modeling paste. They looked the same until they dried! 🤦🏻♀️ Good teaching moment though!
Experimenting time!!!!! See what happens when I add a tiny bit of varnish to my bloom paints and why I won’t use it again! Photo of the final piece!

Hello all! I know there is a lot of issues in the blooming community with pouring mediums changing their recipes! I just wanted to share my new medium with you all. There is no varnish in my paints at all so no melty cells! Here’s the link if you would like to watch.

This texture pieces is yummy enough to eat...but don't! You can feast your eyes though!
So I wasn’t super happy with the center of this bloom tilt I did…soooo…I added a little texture! I’m much happier with it now. It will be traveling to Asheville with me to the Fluid Art Experience - Learn Live & Be Inspired in 2 weeks to be hung in the gallery. ☺️
This one is giving me under water vibes! I love the pearl technique and this one is double the fun! The water and oceans always inspire me. What inspires you?
