I am super proud to have participated in the Folly Flower Show today alongside the room sponsor . I am a flower farmer thru & thru and have no formal floral design training other than what I have self-taught myself over the last several years as I embarked on this flower farming journey. I am super proud that most of the flowers used in this arrangement were grown right here in Kernersville, NC with no pesticides or herbicides just like the Korner family would have used. I am honored to have displayed my flowers in such an iconic building in our little town. Thank you to the & for allowing me to participate!

In Victorian times, flowers were used to express people’s feelings and emotions that couldn’t be done outright due to societal constraints. It only seemed fitting for the blue room of the Folly to have some blue flowers, one of the rarest flower colors and in Victorian times was used to convey loyalty and fidelity.

Come see us tomorrow at the NW Guilford Farmers & Specialty Market from 8:30a-12:30p! It’s the last weekend to grab some of this beautiful lisianthus! It’s similar to a rose but has over a week vase life! We will have some bud vases available too!

Happy Sunday! I’ve been working on refining my tulip order for Spring 2025. As a flower farm, these orders are placed a year in advance (around the time that the current years tulips are blooming).

I am changing a few things on my order, but wanted to get some feedback from y’all before I make my changes.

🌸🍺 Join us this Thursday at Gypsy Road Brewing Company in Kernersville from 5-8 pm for a special pop-up event! 🎉 Create your own bouquet from locally grown flowers while enjoying a refreshing drink. 🌼🍹 Treat yourself to a fun evening filled with blooms and brews! There will be two other vendors as well (Bear Dogs Bakery and Cooper’s Cool Jewels).

Thrilled to have been asked to craft stunning bouquets for the Greensboro Performing Arts performances at The Carolina Theatre this weekend! 🎭🌿

Traditionally, flowers after a performance have been used to show gratitude to the performers for all their hard work & dedication to their art. Most of the florals were grown by us, but also included pink roses and carnations as these two flowers/color hold symbolic meaning in regard to performances.

Pink roses convey deep gratitude for an outstanding performance and carnations represent pride and admiration. I love 💗how these flowers came together.

Thank you to GREENSBORO PERFORMING ARTS for letting me be a small part of this weekend! Congratulations to all the performers!

Happy Monday! My helper, R***r and I got so many plants in the ground today. A huge relief as I was a little behind getting these in the ground. I think R***r did more watching and sleeping. Still have some more to get in the ground but way less than I planted today. Last two pictures are of the strawflower and snapdragons that are just starting to bloom. I know I’m going to sleep good tonight and I’ll be feeling this tomorrow but so thankful I can move and do these things.

Got out early today and got some plants pulled that were done flowering and weeded some other beds. Got flowers harvested before the rain this evening. This coral colored Sweet William is just beautiful and the Scabiosa is starting to bloom. I love how it looks like it has sprinkles on top. Now for some chill time! Happy Saturday flower friends!
