Fathers words ringing true right here. You ask how? Glad you asked. As we are observing a Shmita (Sabbath of the Land) Father keeps providing opportunities to work and share our faith. This project here is just one of many provisions He has given us.

All set up and ready to grow. Its been a slow progression but found time to make some mods and now have a functional fruiting room. Only have to make one more mod to the humidifier and Lord willing will start having mushrooms available weekly.

Time for a new sport! Elijah is finishing up basketball and wanted to try something new, so here we are. This kid climbed none stop for 3+ hours on Sunday.

First harvest of Kings. Super cool mushrooms to grow. Did you know you can eat the whole thing. The stem is tender like the cap.

Grow, babies grow. Lettuce, arugula and tomatoes are starting to pop. I so love being part of growing food. The hardest part about the whole process is having the faith to put the seed into the soil. Father brings the increase!!

What a fun day we had. Elijah had a Basketball game Saturday and did great. When we walked out the doors, what did we see but a car show going on.

Busy getting things started. A little later than years past but trying to figure things out in this sabbath year. Never NOT planted in the ground for a year but trusting Fathers blessing. These babies will be grown in bag and sold for others to grow in their gardens.

Finally have time to get the plastic off the tunnel that collapsed from the ice and snow a few weeks ago. It’s been full of water until this morning. Now the winds have picked up. No saving this guy..

Having the right tools make task so much easier. This impact driver is a life saver even if it’s 10+year old.

How to grow your on food!!

Super blessed today. Have the opportunity to share what I’ve learned about growing food with a young adult. Never would have thought teaching would be so much fun. I personally don’t think I know enough to teach someone else but we are having fun anyway.
