I don't know how to do it. I can't function and only cry. Why did God take my husband, the father of my children, the grandfather (Papa) of my grandchildren away. I want to be strong and put a smile on for everyone. Being home alone while everyone goes on. All I do is cry. I only want to be in Heaven with George. It has been 7 months and 9 days.

George Harold Barlow has such a long list of friends. I know we all miss him. We would like to make the shop available to everyone who would like to stop by. If you have something to pick up or would just like to say goodbye to a business that he ran for 26 years.
If you would like to just comment or message me or one of our kids.
We want to thank everyone that supported us through the years. We have been truly blessed.

If you have not seen or heard my husband George Harold Barlow owned Rylos Electronics on the southside of the square passed away November 10th. This was a complete shock to all of us so there was no way for him to plan on how to handle everything.
Do not worry it was not Covid.
George ran the shop by himself. He did keep records. I'm sure if you were in the shop you know how much work it is going to take everyone to go through. All our children and teen grandkids either work full time jobs and/or are in school. We want to get your items to you but please have patience.
As we find items someone will contact you to make arrangements for pick up.
Thankyou for understanding

I apologize for not responding to everyone. I appreciate everyone prayers and kind words. It all happened so suddenly I am trying to wrap my brain around everything. This happened so fast I can't understand. My body isn't handling the stress. Trying to just rest for the next couple of days and accept my life will never be the same. Thankyou for understanding and being there for our family.
God bless

I've had questions of what happened and why everything happened so suddenly. This is the best way for me to describe it.

He had lymphatic leukemia. Originally they thought it was like Bertha's and very slow growing. It was expected when we got his kidneys to function again and his body to absorb platelets he would be doing much better. Yesterday morning they got the lymph node biopsy back and it was the worst form of cancer fast acting. They could have done Chemo but the Oncologist said it wouldn't have made a difference and only make the pain worse. All 3 kids sons in law and Logan came down and we chose to let nature take it course. When they extubated him he was very peaceful. The nurse gave him Morphine and he was already on Fentnyl from day he was admitted. He went very peacefully. Because of Covid they could only allow 2 in the room at a time. Everyone came up to say their goodbyes then Brenda stayed with me in the room.

I have had many questions on how to donate money and when is the services. We have a go fund me set up. We are so thankful for your prayers. Unfortunately we don't have life insurance. George wanted to be cremated. The money collected will go for his cremation.

I don't have a diffinitive time on the funeral yet but we are looking at Saturday at The Crossing. As soon as I know I'll let you know.

Thank you everyone for the messages and condolences.
Currently we are all swamped with stuff to do and take care of. Everyone has said to let them know if we need anything and we really aren't sure what we need right now. We are trying to work on just setting up the memorial right now. As far as we can tell from searching everywhere today, Dad doesn't not have any life insurance or even a will. We are unsure of many things at this moment but there will be a memorial service this coming weekend.

We are all home. He passed very peacefully at 6:20 this evening. He was pain free. I'm sorry I can't thank everyone for all your sweet comments and prayers each. I still have a lot to read yet. God truly blessed us with a wonderful support system during this. He is in Heaven with Katie.
Thankyou and God bless

OK the hardest update:
This morning I had a call from his oncologist. His cancer has affected his entire body. He can't absorb the platelets so his right lung oozes. The kidneys are not responding to dialysis. Today he went in to vtac so they stopped it before he coded. He went in to kidney failure. Chemo would not have helped.

All 3 kids, both sons in law, and Logan came down. Fr. John and Linda came to pray. We met with the Palative team and made the decision to extubate him and let nature take its course.

He is relaxed and doesn't seem in pain. Thankyou everyone for your continued prayers and kind words.

Update on George:
He had a very busy day. Definitely more stable than yesterday. They put a central line in so they could do dialysis. Then he immediately had a second broncoscopy. There were no more clots but did have more blood. He's getting platelets but they don't know if the toxins are preventing them from working. He got his first dialysis today. The nurse got out 2 liters of fluid. We won't know till tomorrow after the kidney doc sees him if they will repeat dialysis tomorrow or Wednesday. You can't even tell the difference in the swelling. His skin is very pasty and tight. She said tomorrow it depends on how he is if he needs another broncoscopy. You can tell by his breathing when he needs it.
Overall I have to say he had a pretty good day. No problems with his vital signs. Thankyou for your continued prayers.

This morning update.
His viral signs are stable. They are going to put in a central catheter and going to start daily dialysis. The hope with this is it will take off the fluid and remove toxins and we may get him to wake up. They are waiting on the bronc so possibly the dialysis will help. He's resting much better this morning.

Good evening everyone. Doing a short update tonight because it has been a really hard day for George and we will have more tomorrow regarding today:

This afternoon no sedation stressed him after a couple of hours. He had a CT to make sure no stroke because he only moved one side.
After he started coughing up blood and 2 clots. They had to do a broncoscopy and will have to again tomorrow. His right lung is full of clots. Tonight he is sedated and they will be given platelets all night.
He was resting when I left.
