Join us for our Meet The Teacher events!

Students will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their new teachers and classroom environments before the first day of school, which can reduce anxiety and help students feel more comfortable and confident. Meet the Teacher will also provide parents an opportunity to establish a personal connection with their child's teacher(s), which can facilitate better communication and collaboration throughout the school year.

All high schools and Osceola County School for the Arts will host their Meet The Teacher event on Wednesday, August 7th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All middle and K-8 schools will host their Meet The Teacher event on Thursday, August 8th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

All elementary schools will host their Meet The Teacher event on Friday, August 9th from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hello parents and guardians! We are excited for your children to take their with us for VPK this coming school year! A reminder that the school district of Osceola County will be hosting an open house and meet the teacher event at every elementary school on Friday, August 9th from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM. This includes VPK teachers and staff! We are so excited to meet your little learners and cannot wait for the fantastic year to come!

It is almost time to embark on our best year yet. We miss our Pandas and look forward to seeing them August 9th at meet the teacher and for the first day of school on August 12th. Here on the Hill, we recognize that it takes a collective effort from parents, teachers, staff, community members, and business partners to have the greatest impact on our students’ lives. If you share this commitment, we invite you to partner with us in the upcoming year.

We welcome individuals who can contribute their strengths, whether it’s in cooking, chess, sewing, auto mechanics, or any other area. Would you like to motivate and support teachers and students? Consider donating materials or sponsoring an event. Perhaps you have extra yarn or party decorations that you no longer need—those would be valuable contributions. Even dedicating an hour a day, week, or month to reading or practicing math facts with a student can make a significant difference.

The G.A.B.I.E. Science Bus is on the Hill! Our 21st Century learners have had multiple opportunities and experiences with hands on science this summer.

Teachers and staff on the Hill continue to learn and grow this summer. Ms. Pagán is learning about utilizing talents and strengths with a group of school leaders. Mrs. Wright and a group of PHES teachers and staff are learning how to build a strong foundation for our VPK students. We cannot wait to inspire students this fall to become the best versions of themselves!

Our 21st Century summer students have been busy. They have been making clouds, building rockets to fly, and them FNP came and talked about nutrition. They were so excited that they got to make smoothies on the bike.

We are thrilled to be learning together this week. We are preparing to innovate and elevate!

Exciting news! Grant money, required to be spent on recruitment efforts, has been awarded to the Osceola School District. This will allow the district to provide a $5,000 recruitment incentive for candidates newly hired as a full-time classroom ESE teacher at 45 of our schools for the 2024-2025 school year.
