🤔 Did you know there is a week dedicated to horticultural therapy every year? This year it's March 17-23.

🌱 We'd like to challenge everyone to take some time that week to reach out to someone you know and connect over plants! That's what horticultural therapy is all about after all -- making people-plant connections to better our minds, bodies, and communities.

🧤 Maybe you can assist your neighbor with some pruning or springtime weeding -- it's that time of the year after all. And the work is easier when we do it together!

🌼 Or you could invite someone to a trip to a botanical garden or local nature trail - the spring blooms are ✨beautiful✨ this time of the year, and our flying insect friends 🦟 haven't quite taken over the scene (at least here in Northwest Florida)

🌷 Maybe you want to add some color to your flowerbeds out front -- invite someone along to help you choose, spend the morning nursery hopping and then go back to plant the new flowers together.

Tag us in a post about what you chose to do to celebrate National Horticultural Therapy Week and we will draw a winner from the participants for a UF bag'o'swag -- not to mention bestowing upon you the priceless feeling of being a winner! 🥳
