Why should we love one another? We look today at 1 John 4:7-10.
"Dear friends, let’s love each other, because love is from God, and everyone who loves is born from God and knows God. The person who doesn’t love does not know God, because God is love. This is how the love of God is revealed to us: God has sent his only Son into the world so that we can live through him. This is love: it is not that we loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son as the sacrifice that deals with our sins."

We’re thinking this week about how living in the light brings a real freedom and joy! We'd love to hear your comments on these words in the New Testament.
Our Gospel Reading is Mark 4:21-25. “And he said to them, ‘Is a lamp brought in to be put under a bushel, or under a bed, and not on a stand? For there is nothing hid, except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret, except to come to light. If any man has ears to hear, let him hear.’ And he said to them, ‘Take heed what you hear; the measure you give will be the measure you get, and still more will be given you. For to him who has will more be given; and from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.’

“BEAUMONT SNACKS”---- Our Central Family’s ongoing ministry with Beaumont Elementary helps our teachers ensure no child in the class is hungry during school. As kids return to school after a week of snow, how great it will be to offer our special help these next weeks.
All of you are so generous & we are so grateful for you in this ministry! Join us in adding these snacks to your grocery list, & simply drop them off at the church each week.
