Travis is a friendly and energetic young man with a love for imaginative play and video games. A bright mind with a keen interest in science, Travis also enjoys making origami. His favorite foods include hot wings, pizza, chicken nuggets, chicken sandwiches, and broccoli.

Meet Miranda! 👋

Miranda is a kind, funny, and caring young lady who loves making friends and chatting with everyone she meets. She enjoys school and excels in her studies. Miranda loves playing card games like UNO and Go Fish, as well as board games. She’s an animal lover, especially when it comes to cats, and her favorite TV show is Peppa Pig.

Miranda enjoys drawing, coloring, and watching movies. She loves healthy snacks like bananas and apples, along with pasta and pizza. What makes her happiest? "Waking up and seeing the sun!" Natilin is a happy and loving young lady with a passion for cheering, soccer, and running track. She’s creative and artistic, enjoying drawing and art. Natilin loves R&B, K-Pop, and has enjoyed singing in choir. She also enjoys attending church.

Natilin dreams of a supportive, loving home with no more than two siblings and is okay with pets of any kind. Since joining our board in 2009, Kathy has brought her invaluable expertise from a 33-year career at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, where she specialized in management and human resources. Now, she uses her skills in disaster preparedness, business continuity, and risk management to benefit Harmony in countless ways. Kathy’s relationship with Harmony began through her participation in the Adoption Tour, reflecting her deep commitment to child welfare and adoption.

Melissa, our Board Chair, beautifully sums up Kathy’s impact: "Kathy’s service to Harmony has been unwavering since 2010. Her expertise in risk management and her heart for child welfare and adoption have served Harmony in more ways than can be counted. We are incredibly grateful for her heart and her commitment to Harmony’s mission."

Meet Kenny, a former school horse and now a star of our Therapeutic Equine Experiences! Kenny loves showing off his good looks, enjoying ear scratches, and taking long naps in the sunshine. Join us to connect with Kenny and experience growth, connection, and peace.

Our sessions are for everyone – from individuals aged 4 and up to families, student groups, and professionals. Integrate mindfulness, build problem-solving skills, and strengthen relationships in a supportive environment with our wonderful horses.

Meet Juliet! 💙

Juliet excels in math and enjoys playing outside, running, walking, shooting hoops, and swimming. Her favorite toys are Squishmallows, and she loves being the center of attention. Juliet is very athletic and loves playing soccer. She also likes basketball, but not as much as she likes soccer. Juliet is a very sweet young lady. She likes anime and cartoons. Juliet LOVES animals of all kinds and would like to be a veterinarian someday. She loves math, even though she has stronger subjects. Juliet loves playing outside, going for a walk, running, or shooting hoops. She also loves to swim and dive in the pool. Her favorite toys are Squishmallows. Celebrating a Decade of Excellence! 🥳

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate Amanda Chagnon, one of our outstanding FOCUS Regional Case Coordinators, on her 10-year work-iversary with Harmony! Since joining Harmony in 2014, Amanda has brought a wealth of knowledge and a deep commitment to her role.

As Heather Butcher, our FOCUS Program Director, shares: "I have had the pleasure of working with Amanda in this field for the past 22 years. She has such a big heart and passion for the work we do at Harmony. I have had the pleasure of watching her help so many kids find permanency and offer them guidance, support, and love along their journey. Amanda stepped up and took on Independent Living camps, growing them and making them her own. She pours her heart and soul into making these camps a joyful experience for the teens who attend. Watching teenagers experience things they never have had the opportunity to do before, and then to not want to leave due to how much fun they had, is all because of the work Amanda puts in. She truly is a blessing for the kids she touches in her role."
