Chase Marshall has just completed its newest fire station design in South Golden Meadow, LA for Lafourche Parish Fire District 3. The new 4,480 sq ft station is replacing one damaged by Hurricane Ida. The station will feature two apparatus bays with updated support and accessory spaces. Construction is set to begin Spring of 2025.

We’re happy to announce that Jay Chase will be presenting at the upcoming Station Design Conference in Glendale, Arizona sharing his knowledge about effective fire station design!

Red Lerille’s project went vertical this week with the delivery and placing of the steel frame for the new ladies gym and locker room. Keep watching .

The Egg Roll House in Metairie is no more. See photos, video of restaurant demolition. The Egg Roll House, an iconic Chinese restaurant in Metairie, closed this year after decades in business on Veterans Boulevard.

Welcome to the team Courtney Clark! Courtney is CMA's newest Designer working in our Lafayette office. She’s a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a major in Architecture and a minor in Interior Design. With a decade of architectural experience, her interior design knowledge helps selecting finishes so that the interior has a cohesive relationship to the exterior - not just a pretty face! Courtney is a wife and mother committed to a healthy lifestyle, enjoys making time to read with her book club, and going back home in NOLA to spend time with family.

We're Wining Down on this Wednesday which has become a quarterly tradition at Chase Marshall so that our staff from both offices can enjoy a refreshing beverage and team camaraderie. The gathering also features an internal learning session so we can deliver better design products to our clients.

Chase Marshall attended The AIA Conference on Architecture, A’23, in San Francisco earlier this month and sat in on a great panel discussion about “Integration is the future. How can architects do it effectively?” which was about how project delivery is changing. Contractors are being on boarded sooner in the project to work with the Architect and Owner to help control costs and procurement of materials that are a long lead item. Innovative changes in the way we do business!

Look how cool! Chase Marshall is working with Lafayette Consolidated Government to design and build a swimming pool cover for the outdoor pool located at Dorsey-Donlon Park (301 Cora Street, Lafayette, LA) which is also part of the Martin Luther King Recreation Center. The purpose of the cover is to allow for year round use of the pool for swimming and exercise. We’re in the conceptual design phase of this project and will keep you posted on construction.

Check out Chase Marshall Architects in this week’s Facility Executive article “Rejuvenated Corporate Headquarters Improves Its Illumination” for its collaboration with a national home health company’s expansion and renovation in Lafayette, LA. The article explains how Chase Marshall overcame illumination challenges giving the company the ability to control their lighting usage in its 200,000 sq. ft. addition with lighting on daylight sensors that are managed with a lighting controls system.

Helping clients bring their workforce back into the workplace in the post pandemic world is a problem for many companies. Chase Marshall and the team from IDI brought a client to the Miller Knoll showrooms in Chicago to meet with workplace strategists to assist in the redesign of their corporate campus. Employees are concerned with privacy in their workspace, but also desire collaborative areas in which to gather.

Chase Marshall Architects is excited to welcome aboard our newest designer Kay Champagne! Kay is working out of our Lafayette studio. She brings over 10 years of architecture experience and is such a great asset and addition to our team. Be on the lookout for her great designs.
