✨Meet our Designer, Chloe Barton✨
As a Designer, LEED Green Associate, Chloe is a Lafayette native and has been with our firm for one year. Chloe has always been interested in the culture of a place and how it shapes the built environment. After graduating with her Masters from UL Lafayette, she spent 2 years working in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, gaining experience on a wide range of projects including single and multi-family residential, as well as adaptive re-use and commercial projects. While working along the Mississippi coast, she learned about resilient and sustainable design practices and became a LEED Green Associate. She is currently pursuing her Architectural License and plans on becoming a LEED AP in the future.
✨Meet our Project Manager, Kelly Russo✨
At the intersection of academia, art & architecture, Kelly Russo’s experience lends multifaceted insights to approaching the individual needs of a project. She graduated with her MArch summa cm laude & received the highest award for her thesis, and is currently pursuing her Architectural License. With 7 years in the world of commercial architecture, 15 years in residential & 5 years in architectural higher education, Kelly is always searching for more knowledge and refine any design challenge she faces. Her project management experience includes: grocery stores, behavioral health, educational facilities, custom residential, & historic preservation. No challenge or style is out of bounds – the goal is to simply create a cohesive design language so that highlighted moments in the architectural scale & details can be elevated. Her acute ear for listening to what is not said, and seeing what is not obvious, and her open-minded approach to different and changing possibilities will guide novice clients and experienced ones into confidently executed solutions that are timeless, thoughtful, and personal.
Kelly also serves on the local board for Historic Preservation, as she has a deep respect for the craft it takes to execute good design.
🌟 Celebrating Women in Construction Week! 🏗️✨
Yesterday morning’s site visit was enlightening for all parties as our phenomenal women from the office led discussions and ensured every detail aligns with precision.
👷♀️ As we celebrate Women in Construction Week, their expertise and commitment shine brightly, showcasing the incredible impact of women in our industry.
Our focus of this visit encompassed critical aspects, from plumbing intricacies to confirming MEP layouts, and diving into the aesthetic nuances of the front facade brick layout. The collaborative spirit and meticulous attention to detail embody the essence of excellence that defines our projects. We pride ourselves on fluid communication that keeps the construction process aligned with intentional design decisions.
Site discussions went beyond construction documents; they reflected the diversity of perspectives and skills that contribute to our construction endeavors. It's a celebration not just of our achievements today but also of breaking barriers and paving the way for future generations of women in construction.
