We're thrilled to announce the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Student Union at McNeese State University!

Since 2019, we've been planning for a space that truly embodies the vision of the students. This new Student Union will be a hub of creativity, collaboration, and community—a place where every student's voice is heard and every vision is realized.

Join us as we celebrate this monumental step towards an even brighter future for McNeese State University!

On the site of what was once a gas station, but for years had simply been a vacant lot, we designed a two-story core and shell new construction building with an expected future restaurant tenant. The design team grappled with the challenge of blending modernity with tradition and we are thrilled that the AIA New Orleans Design Awards Committee recognized the careful attention to detail and commitment to integrating our modern building into the neighborhood's architectural tapestry without overshadowing its historic charm.

Today marks a milestone for Lafayette High School as we celebrate the Topping Out Ceremony! The last beam of the new school building was placed, symbolizing progress and a bright future ahead.

After 30 years of serving nationally recognized cuisine, the Emeril’s Team needed a modern, refreshed look for its flagship, upscale restaurant in the New Orleans Central Business District. The tasteful renovations ultimately facilitated a redefined, more personal dining experience by blending the dining and kitchen spaces through enhanced views, exclusive seating, and opulent materials. The original wavey-woven wood ceilings are stained to a darker hue, and a variety of new and interesting materials and equipment are integrated throughout, creating an intimate and modern effect in seating areas while contrasting with the vibrant, chic wine bar and bright, immaculate open kitchen. With a reduction to only 12 carefully placed tables, and implementation of bespoke, deep-set undulous banquettes, the seating configuration offers options for any discerning diner to find the sweet spot for a perfect experience.

AQ Studios collaborated with Ochsner Lafayette General to design the Urgent Care Clinic in Maurice, Louisiana! This space offers a range of services from minor injury treatments to X-rays and lab testing. Our patient-focused design ensures quick and efficient care, and has physical therapy services on-site.

Unveiling the hidden treasures of New Orleans, the Vitascope - a blend of 1800s and 1900s architecture, meticulously restored. The Vitascope is a petite 4-story gem on Canal Street with arched windows and ornamental details, and is the only intact cast iron façade in the city.

What was once an abandoned garden center has been transformed into Garrison Kitchen + Cocktails, one of metro New Orleans’ most popular new restaurants. This project has a little bit of everything – a renovation of the historic original property, a contemporary new construction rear addition to house the restaurant kitchen, and a new yard filled with private and communal gazebos for a beautiful outdoor dining experience. We’re grateful to have teamed up with for this wonderful project and to have helped invigorate this portion of Metairie Road.
