HAITI- Gerline joined HOPE savings group in January 2023.
She sells sandals, cosmetics and food.
In a recent report, Gerline said: “My situation has improved greatly, especially in terms of education and food for my children. Before, they could not follow their school curriculum normally because I did not have the means to pay for their registration and their material. They were forced to repeat or drop out of their studies. But now, thanks to my efforts and income, I can ensure their schooling without difficulty and offer them a better quality of life. I can buy them books, notebooks, uniforms, and everything they need to succeed. I can also prepare the more varied and nutritious meals, which allow them to grow up healthy and happy.”
PRAISE GOD!!!!

Before joining the Amahoro (“peace”) savings group in Burundi, Laudine says she felt like a different person.
“Life was hard as a refugee, and I had no hope for the future.”
However, once Laudine joined the HOPE savings group, she worshipped and prayed with her group. She took out loans from the group to purchase kitchen supplies and a tax ID number for her restaurant.
Since investing in her business, she’s hired two people form her community and is now mentoring other refugees.
