What a lot of people don't know is that our MOM is the secret to our success and the creator of ALL the recipes that we currently serve here at R&N!

Anh-Thu has been cooking and baking since the age of 13!
She opened her first restaurant in Vietnam at the age of 19!

Continuing her father's footsteps, she restarted her dream with Pho Tau Bay in New Orleans in 1983.

We just wanted to share to everyone how special she is to all of us here at Rice & Noodles.

To the one person that would leave all of her personal belongings behind in a war stricken era and fill a suitcase with formula to make sure that we would not go hungry on our journey to the U.S.

To the one person that knows exactly when it's time to let us fly and when to wrangle us back in and give us your insight and knowledge.

To the person that loves us all unconditionally and would sacrifice anything for her family.
