Proud to support our community! ✨ Casa de Peregrinos is honored to join hands with the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico to aid those affected by the Ruidoso fires. Together, we're making a difference when it matters most. 🌟

Thank you to our incredible community partner, Casa de Peregrinos (Emergency Food Program), for your generous donation of $24,950 to support those affected by the fires and floods in Lincoln and Otero counties.

With the Casa de Peregrinos donation, in partner with Albertson's, community members who were forced to evacuate to emergency shelters across Southern New Mexico, along with first responders, received a $50 Albertson's gift card in support of the immediate needs of the people affected by the wildfires.

We thank Casa de Peregrinos for your heartfelt contribution to help support the people of our communities in Lincoln and Otero. Our hearts continue to go out to the people of Lincoln and Otero counties.

Our pantry in Hatch has been a success in a community that has embraced the services that CdP has brought to the north valley of Doña Ana County. 400 plus families receive food every month. We are grateful for the collaborative efforts of our partners Hatch Valley Public Schools and The Village of Hatch in assisting us in our mission. Renovation of the facility coming soon. A incredible blessing for us in the Hatch Valley.

Today, we were happy to welcome The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Casa de Peregrinos! 🌟 It was a joy to give them a tour, and we are excited about the possibilities ahead. Thank you for visiting! 💖

Thanks to the fantastic partnership with NMSU ICAN Ideas for Cooking and Nutrition (ICAN), a program by the New Mexico State University, Casa de Peregrinos has been hosting informative cooking and nutrition classes. These sessions, led by the dedicated instructor Marcie Garcia, have been a tremendous success among families eager to explore healthy cooking alternatives and gain valuable nutritional insights.

As we transition from summer to the new school year, ICAN is gearing up to launch new classes tailored for seniors and adults. Whether you're interested in refining your culinary skills, learning about nutrition, or simply meeting like-minded individuals in a supportive environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
