A note on parking for our field trip to Dino Safari at the Horseshoe Casino on July 25th:
The first 3 hours of parking are free for Nevada residents with valid ID. You must take your parking ticket to the hotel front desk for validation.
Otherwise, parking is $25.
You still have time to sign up for the bus!

Beat the heat with SUMMER AT THE CENTER! Fill out your punch cards by rotating stations to be entered in the weekly prize raffle! Compete on the obstacle course to see if you can beat your time! Come in on Mondays for extra special Summer Olympics games during circle time! The center will still be open every Monday-Thursday from 9am-noon. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for tomorrow! ☀️

Our partners at the Southern Nevada Health District, UNLV and Healthy Southern Nevada have a put together a Community Health Assessment Survey. The survey aims to assess the current health status of Southern Nevadans while helping to identify barriers to care and other relevant demographic and social issues. The survey is 36 questions and will take about 10 minutes to complete. Please consider taking this survey to help improve access to health resources in our community. The survey is available in English and Spanish.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mothers that come through our doors! This week, we painted pots, planted flowers, and had a pancake breakfast to celebrate. How do you celebrate at home?

If you have signed up for our field trip to the outdoor garden classroom on Thursday, May 10th, and you are driving, please meet us in the back parking lot near the garden by 10 am.

Please bring good walking shoes, hats, sunscreen, strollers, and water.

Be free, butterflies! Fly away and pollinate! They are being released today at Paradise Park (4775 S. McLeod). Hope you can join us.

We have butterflies! Stop by the center this week to count the butterflies and see if your color prediction was correct! And don’t forget to join the fun this Saturday at our fundraiser “Touch a Truck” in Downtown Summerlin.

Our caterpillars are in their chrysalis stage!
Stop by the center next week to make your prediction of what color the butterflies will be when they hatch in one week.
