Our Back-to-School Pool Party at Black Mountain Recreation Area was a huge hit! We packed and distributed 200 backpacks with school supplies to children in our community. These essentials will help them get off to a great start! Special shout out to Vice President, Joe Esquivel and the executive board: Jason Anderson, Domanikk Boyd, Eric Rubeck and Rich Lee.

We had some HEAVY METAL at our training facility! The Heavy Metal Summer Experience camp. As part of their tour of our facility, the campers had the opportunity to use our training equipment and get hands-on experience. Many of these campers will realize the trades provide a successful careerpath with no debt, high wages, job security and the ability to continue to advance.

In Las Vegas, we are seeing a dedicated effort to help inform more women about the available jobs in the construction trades. Women Build Vegas Night was one of those efforts. Our own Crystal Naegel, Local 525 Assistant Training Coordinator, participated in this event to help share the opportunities available to women through Unions like Local 525.
