He left home with no wallet, no ID, no phone and most importantly without his critical medication that he needs several times a day..

Authorities are looking for a light-colored, newer model pickup truck that fled the scene after hitting a pedestrian in Las Vegas Thursday night.

Today we had a kind citizen come to our lobby to try to give us a cash donation as a result of this letter. Be advised, this solicitation is for a political organization. None of the funds collected by this organization go directly to BCPD. We do not and will not solicit our citizens for cash donations. As always, our officers appreciate a simple "thank you for your service" instead.

On August 6th, 2023 just after 9:00 pm, Southwest patrol officers responded to the Chevron gas station at 1459 West Olive Avenue for a possible gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers located the victim who had been struck over the top of his head with a handgun. As the suspect struck the victim, the suspect discharged a round from the firearm.

Officers learned that the victim was involved in a disturbance with two suspects in a pickup truck as they were exiting the parking lot. The driver of the vehicle got out of his vehicle, confronted the victim, went back to his vehicle to retrieve a firearm, and eventually assaulted the victim.

RAID officers attempted to stop this vehicle trick and reckless driving in the area of Durango/ Moccasin in NWAC. The vehicle took off at a high rate of speed. We continued to ATL the area. The Purple People Eater was again seen driving recklessly on two more occasions. Again, the vehicle took off.
With our stellar investigative tools, we were able to identify the registered owner’s address. The PPE was seen pulling into his residence, and the driver was taken into custody without incident.
The following charges were aplied to the driver:
3X Counts of FELONY Driver to disobey a peace officer, endangering other persons/Property.
4X Counts of GM Disregard for the safety of Persons/Property.
4X counts of Misd Reckless driving.
3X Misd Basic Speed 31Mph over the limit.
1X Count DUI/Drugs.
