The Viking Battalion at their annual Award Ceremony! Congratulations to all cadets for your accomplishments and hard work the 18-19 school year!

The Chinese New Years Parade was so much fun! The Viking Battalion got to march through Fremont and hang out in the Container Park!

Today, the Viking Battalion had a mock JPA inspection. Big thanks to recruiters Hunter and Ross for helping us out. The cadets gained lots of experience and will be better prepared for the real thing in April!

The Cheyenne Drill Meet was a blast! Our cadets participated in unarmed, armed, CG, and PT. See you next year!

Today, our cadets participated in the 6th annual All Army Drill Meet. Our runners, Tug of War, Unarmed, Armed, Color Guard A, and Color Guard B team all participated. We had a blast with Chef LTC Nary on the grill and our runners taking 2nd, 4th, and 5th place and Tug of War placing 2nd overall!

Our Sabre Team once again had the distinguished opportunity to participate in the Wounded Warriors Salute to the Troops event.

The Viking Battalion Color Guard once again had the opportunity to present the colors at the annual Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast. Our Cadets were humbled by the experience and the beautiful speeches and prayers given.

On Wednesday the 21st, the Viking Battalion Color Guard had the privilege to present the colors at the Shelley Berkley ES dedication ceremony. We are humbled by the opportunity and our cadets had a lot of fun being there!

Today, the Viking Battalion took yearbook photos with the help of the Yearbook Committee. The sun was tough, but they were tougher!
From bottom to top, it is Alpha Co., Bravo Co., Charlie Co., Delta Co., Echo Co., and Staff; each company with their corresponding guidon. This is their “silly” photo!

This weekend, cadets and SFC (Ret.) White & LTC (Ret.) Nary got CERTified! They learned several life and emergency skills such as: how to dress and bandage a wound, how to triage survivors, how to put out a fire, what to do in a terrorism situation, and much more! They all became assets to their community and peers through all the amazing knowledge gained through the Community Emergency Response Team!

Vance’s son “Nacho” — Spc. Ignacio Ramirez — was killed a decade ago while serving in Iraq.
