Discussions included the OPPLA (Other Planned Permanent Living Arrangement) Panel Review implemented by Judge Charter for youth who are aging out of care as well as the first annual Career Paths Fair that was held in May of this year at the Pearson Community Center.

The Eighth Judicial District Court CASA Program | 6/19/24 There is an urgent need for more CASA volunteers to speak on behalf of abused and neglected children.

The Regional Justice Center & Family Court will be closed Wednesday, June 19 to commemorate Juneteenth. The courts will resume operations on Thursday, June 20.

Beware of a jury scam to get money for missed jury duty.

No official representatives of the court will call to solicit money for any purposes.

The court never calls or e-mails people to get personal information such as their social security number.

Those who receive these e-mails or call should not respond and are advised to contact the Attorney General’s office.
