Our first Master of Music (MM) student highlight is for Kayoung Kim!
Kayoung is a conductor and singer currently based in Las Vegas, born in Seoul, South Korea. She studied vocal music at Dankook University in South Korea. After earning her Bachelor’s in Vocal Performance, she realized her passion for choral music. To further her study, she went abroad to the U.S.A. Currently, is pursuing a Master’s degree under the guidance of Joe Svendsen at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
In South Korea, she engaged in various musical activities. She served as the conductor of the ‘Seoul Junior Choir’ and as the vice conductor for the ‘Dankook University Concert Choir.’ This past summer, she was a vice conductor for the ‘Vice Aurum Choir’ and made a successfully debut as a professional conductor with them in South Korea.
