Traditional Italian family serving Las Vegas since 1949. Chef Mama Maria has been serving Las Vegas since 1949 when she opened her first Italian restaurant.
Since then she has owned numerous restaurants in Las Vegas. in 1972, Maria & her husband Al opened the first Bootlegger Bistro on Tropicana & Eastern in partnership with their daughter Lorraine. in 2001, they moved The Bootlegger to its current location on South Las Vegas Boulevard. Traditional recipes coming from Maria's grandfather Luigi have not changed a bit.

On 12/06/2020, Ilia came to eat at The Bootlegger with his coach and took these photos with our server, Eddie. He was so happy to see his old friend become the champ last night!
We have had the honor of serving many UFC champions and stars at our restaurant over the years, Ilia being one of them. I guess that’s what happens when you eat pasta! Che figata!
