Rays for Rare is a non-profit organization with a mission of bringing uplifting support to medically fragile children and their families near Boise, Idaho. They do this by showing up with practical support at the family's homes in the form of services such as lawn care, snow removal, housekeeping, meal service etc. In addition, they provide advocacy, education, support groups and build community amongst the families through events. "Jamison has HLHS, a congenital heart condition requiring multiple open hearts. His first open heart was at 4 days old, his next at 5 months, and his next will likely be within the next couple years. There is no cure for HLHS, only palliative surgeries, and he will probably wind up needing a heart transplant in his lifetime."
