Sadly we can't ship books anymore 😢

For the month of October the book club is reading
"The Hatak Witches" 🌙 Come into the library for a copy (limited copies)

Meetings are Fridays at 4 p.m. 🧡

This Friday the 13th 🐈‍⬛ We will be making bookmarks 📚 and having pizza 🍕

Yesterday we got to meet Marcie Rendon & listen to her speak about her books and writing journey. It was such a great time! She was so sweet and funny.

Thank you to everyone who came to our booth tonight at the Haskell Highlight Night! We’re excited too have a lot of sign ups.
We have our next meeting Friday Sept. 1st @ 4pm in the library. We hope to see everyone!

Here’s a possible opportunity for a student who loves creative writing.…. You also need to be a good student who is able to be gone next Wednesday and Thursday. That means in excellent standing without absences.

We MAY have a couple openings to go on a literary road trip to Minneapolis to see Joy Harjo and Layli Long Soldier have a conversation.

We are ordering 20 copies of Chelsea's book and Jimmy's book. However, Danny Cain said they may not be received in time for the reading.

What can we say? Hosting book readings on Mondays is just our version of Monday Night Football 🏈🤓 Join us this coming Monday at 7 p.m. for a stop on author Chelsea T. Hicks’ Ancestral Land Tour for her debut short story collection, “A Calm & Normal Heart.” Hicks will be joined in conversation by Haskell Indian Nations University professor Jimmy Lee Beason II. Masks and vax cards are required for entry! 😷
