Congratulations to this hard-working students for winning the Red Cape Awards for the month of April!! We’re so proud of you all!
Field Day was a success! Huge shout out to LHS student volunteers, Mill Street PTA and our very own Specials Team! Coaches Vaughn and Melton planned a fun-filled event for both outside and inside when the weather didn’t cooperate. All Mustangs had fun!
LISD Family Notice:
Early this afternoon, in coordination with local law enforcement, Lewisville ISD Campuses in the City of Lewisville were placed in a Secure. During a secure, students remain or return inside the building, and all doors are locked. No visitors are allowed inside the building, but classes continue as normal.
This was done out of an abundance of caution while law enforcement officials investigated a situation in the Lewisville area. No threat was made against any of our schools. The district has no additional information about the situation, as it was a police matter unrelated to our schools.
Earlier in the day, an ambulance was dispatched to Lewisville High School - Killough to respond to a medical issue with a student. The two situations were unrelated.
As always, we appreciate your support of LISD.
Kindergarten had a big day each classroom having a theme. Neon, Beach, and Disney and then welcoming our incoming Kindergarteners this night!
