We did it! 🥳🥳🥳
Thank you everyone so much for such an amazing year!

We had an incredible last week, filled with award ceremonies and graduations! 5th grade had their 5th Grade Graduation Walk around the school. We had Water Day for our last reward party, which was so much fun! Ms. Galvez was recognized during her 3rd year celebration at the LISD New Teacher U!

Pony Families- we hope you all have a wonderful summer!

Home Stretch Edition!

This time of year is always filled with lots of fun things going on, and this year was no exception! Lewisville Seniors came back to LVES for Senior Breakfast! The Wonder Wagon came to our school for STEM lessons on Monday and Tuesday! Our school got to participate in a 2-Day Enrichment experience called Wonder Workshop! We had an amazing concert put on by Mr. Thomas and his choir! Our baby chicks are growing bigger and bigger!

LISD Family Notice:

Early this afternoon, in coordination with local law enforcement, Lewisville ISD Campuses in the City of Lewisville were placed in a Secure. During a secure, students remain or return inside the building, and all doors are locked. No visitors are allowed inside the building, but classes continue as normal.

This was done out of an abundance of caution while law enforcement officials investigated a situation in the Lewisville area. No threat was made against any of our schools. The district has no additional information about the situation, as it was a police matter unrelated to our schools.

Earlier in the day, an ambulance was dispatched to Lewisville High School - Killough to respond to a medical issue with a student. The two situations were unrelated.

Week 35 🐴🐴
First we want to say thank you for all the love during Teacher Appreciation week! Our teachers really enjoyed all of the kindness that was shown to them! Dr Rapp even joined us on Friday!

We also had some other great events happening! First Grade got to learn from the Lewisville Fire Department! We all enjoyed the excitement of the baby chicks that hatched in the Library! We also had so many amazing people attend our Pastries with Parents on Friday!

Week 34!!
We had an amazing week!!!! Our 5th grade boys went to our local Courthouse for a field trip! Kindergarten had a wonderful music performance on Tuesday! Students had lots of fun at our Reward Party as well! On Wednesday, we had an absolutely awesome Pep Rally! Thanks to the Lewisville Parks & Recreation for helping us out with that!

Week 33 has been wonderful!
Mr. Thomas and some of our Pony students won an award for a Music competition! 5 of our students, 1 from each grade level won an ESSP (Exceptional Student School Performance) Award! We celebrated Administrative Professionals Day with our amazing office staff! We are so thankful for everything they do for us and our school! And, as always, we had lots of amazing instruction happening in our classrooms!

Future Farmer families, the Harmon track is included in Prop B which, if approved, would provide funding for maintenance and repairs.

The 7 non-stadium tracks included in Prop B, such as this example from Forestwood, have reached the end of their useful life, which is approximately 20 years for asphalt tracks and 10 years for synthetic surfaces.

Week 32 is a week to remember! Kinder field trip to Sea Life Aquarium, 5th grade field trip to LISDOLA, and a STAAR prep parade! We love cheering on our 3-5th graders!! Here's to many more memorable moments ahead.

Lewisville ISD's two aquatic centers are used by the district for teaching water safety courses to all second grade students, and house LISD swim, dive and water polo programs. Projects included in Prop A address maintenance & repairs to these facilities.

Week 31 has been lots of fun!
We had our eclipse on Monday! It was so incredible to watch! 2nd graders went to the pool for their swim lessons. Our choir got to compete at Pinstack and had lots of fun on their field trip there! We also have student artwork at the LISD Art Show in Old Town Lewisville! Mrs Kockler's class has a special visitor for Construction Career Day!

🌕 ☀️ Total Solar Eclipse 2024! What a memorable experience for our Pony Family! 🌕 ☀️ Lewisville ISD

Unbelievable! We're 3️⃣0️⃣ weeks into the school year? Time flies when you're having fun (and giving out awards)! 🤩This week we celebrated our Ponies at the 3rd 9 weeks awards. Also, major props to Ms Jones and Dr Ferguson for being rockstar Assistant Principals. We had so much fun honoring them during AP Week!
Thanks to everyone that attended our glow party last night. What a fun way to start the weekend!

Week 29 Pony News is here!
Even though it's been a short week, we had lots of great things happen! On Monday, we had an assembly called "Fire and Ice" from the Perot Museum for our Reward Party! Students got to show Grandma C, one of our most dedicated volunteers, how much the care! First grade had their amazing performance- Thanks again, Mr. Thomas, for putting that together! First grade also got to go to LISDOLA, where they had so much fun learning about science outdoors! Students got to play with chalk outside! We even had a visit from the Easter Bunny!!

What a great week! Hope you enjoy the long weekend! See you back at school on Tuesday, April 2nd!
