Today Annie shares why she chose the 616 as her forever home…
“I chose Kappa because of the immense sisterhood I saw during recruitment. Kappa was the sorority that stood out to me the most because I felt welcomed every time I walked through the French doors during rush week. I love Kappa because of the values and sense of community that each sister holds and truly lives out every day. Kappa is a place where you can surround yourself with a group of like-minded, supportive, empowering women who will push you to become the best version of yourself. As a sophomore, living in has been an incredible experience. Living with my pledge class has helped all of us grow closer and share an endless amount of laughs and memories that we will never forget. Kappa is more than just a house at the 616, the people, values, and community it has makes this sorority truly special! I know the relationships I’ve made because of Kappa will be ones that will last a lifetime. I am forever grateful for going Kappa and finding my home away from home!!” - Anne Masek PC 22

Happy 💌🎞️✨ Alumna, Dalia Nabulsi, shares her experience about living in the 616 and all the awesome memories she made…
“Oh gosh living in was the besttt!! But one of my favorite memories from living in kappa was probably all the mems made in room 304!! I lived in a 3-man with Lauryn Sommerer and Rylee Reggio and our favorite thing to do was make our room into a mega bed! We brought down all our mattresses and just laughed so hard about anything, talked, or recreated tik toks until we would fall asleep! It was our friends hangout spot before or after class, after nights out and before going down to breakfast or dinner- so much life happened in that room!” -Dalia Nabulsi PC 18

Let’s hear why Chloe knew Kappa was the place for her…
“I chose Kappa because I was drawn to its strong sense of sisterhood and commitment to each individual’s success. (And Stevie:)) During rush week, I felt an instant connection with the girls and appreciated their values of friendship, leadership, and loyalty. Kappa became the house where I could truly breathe and relax while having the most genuine conversations. What I love most about Kappa is how it encourages everyone’s different personalities to shine through, having a unique and inclusive environment. Kappa has provided me with a supportive and empowering home away from home that has not only improved my college experience but also shaped me into a more confident and driven individual. I am thrilled to call this sorority my home and proud to be a part of this amazing group of women.” -Chloe Serfass PC 21

Happy from our wonderful alum, Carrie Parrish who lived in from 1995-1998🗝️💙⚜️
“My time living in Kappa is full of so many great memories. I loved walking in the door from class and always having one of my best friends sitting there ready to catch up. I will never forget the house intercom system. We had a house phone and all of the new members had to have phone duty once a week. So there was always someone announcing a phone call, visitor, “boy on third” etc over the all house intercom. Donna (yes the same Donna) made the most wonderful meals! Nights watching tv in the pink room were full of laughter and never wanting to walk back up to our rooms so we would just have a slumber party down there. Back then - we lived in the house Sophomore, Junior and Senior year! Living in those three years were some of the best years of my life. I cherish those memories! Loyally, Carrie”
Such fun memories in this house that still continue today!!🥹🥹

This past weekend our Philanthropy Director, attended the Kappa Leadership Academy in Ohio! Read below to hear Hillary’s experience throughout her time there⚜️🌎✨🗝️
“Going to Kappa Leadership Academy was such a fun and unique experience! I met Kappas from all over the country and learned so much about what Kappa means and how to empower both ourselves and others. I got to know so many amazing women- both collegiate and alumni members- and hearing their stories about all the different chapters was super cool. Overall I took so much away from this trip and made some amazing memories and friends.”

Happy to our awesome alumni🫶🏻🫶🏻
Jill Seberger says “I loved living in the house. I think I could sum it up by saying I loved the laughter. I loved walking to class or practice and just being on campus. I loved the laughter that came about while we searched in the fridge late at night to see what was left. How creative could we get with what was still there? I loved being supported all the time, like when your roommate would buy you a bag of doritos after you had a hard day. I loved meeting at 7pm on Thursdays in the basement for Grey's Anatomy. I loved different women getting to know each other and loving each other, even if we were very different.”
As well as an awesome sisterhood event picture from 2010 from Katye Thomas!💙💙
