Volunteers from affiliated funds across the NCF network gathered in Leigh earlier this week for peer learning and a celebration of Leigh Legacy Fund’s recent homegrown challenge grant success.
Twenty-two college students from across Nebraska returned to their hometowns this May as members of NCF’s 2024 Hometown Interns cohort. Last week they convened in Ogallala for their first peer learning session, where they talked about community assets, witnessed local entertainment, and hiked the Keith County landscape at the Cedar Point Biological Station.
