Cathedral Eagles Lincoln
Cathedral of the Risen Christ School is a Prek-8th grade Catholic school in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Monsignor Fucinaro shared with preschool this week about the ways they use their five senses when they come to church. He even lit some of the incense for them to smell!
Have a wonderful long weekend, Eagles, and a beautiful Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception tomorrow!
Check out our Page One Level II and Level III readers at their November Read Meet!
The fifth graders made illustrations of their favorite parables from the Gospels!
Thank you to our music teacher, Mrs. Worden, and our wonderful Junior High Choir and musicians for a beautiful Christmas concert last night!
The students sang a handful of songs and read some scripture passages while Jesus was present in the monstrance for a beautifully prayerful evening.
Our students were blessed to have Bishop Conley with them for Mass this morning. He talked about three important figures that we would hear about in Advent (Isaiah, John the Baptist, and Mary), Jesus as the shoot from the stump of Jesse, the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and more!

Our 6th graders used powerpoint to demonstrate their skills by creating slides where a ball moved across the screen. They even synchronized it with their neighbors' computers to simulate the ball's movement from one screen to the next. It was a collaborative and engaging exercise that allowed them to explore various elements of powerpoint and teamwork. Great job 6th graders!
